I purchased Rice’s Honey LLC, at Walmart in Maryland. When I opened the top, there was a seal that had been broken open. It wasn’t airtight. So I am taking it back to Walmart for a refund.
I was excited to try this honey. It looks delicious. I will purchase another bottle to see if it’s airtight. I will be a satisfied customer! Update; My next bottle was sealed.

The white foam posted below is common in raw honey, can be formed by tiny air bubbles, actually sweeter tasting than honey and perfectly safe to eat! Raw honey will eventually crystallize, adulterated honey will not. This is due to the glucose to fructose ratio found in natural honey. Can easily be re-heated.

There was some kind of sludge on the too of the honey which I couldn't distinguish from the white lid liner they use. Throwing this new bottle in the trash.

When I was in high school the church girls I hung out with LOVED honey. I didn't understand the fascination until about 20 years later when I ate this honey. I always try the local honey and just happened to buy this from Sprouts. Not wanting to deal with the traffic of the growing North Austin area, I ordered online.
