I visited Renna’s Meat Market in Fresno to stock up for our Easter Sunday BBQ, and it did not disappoint. The meat was top-notch—fresh, well-trimmed, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their products. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, helping me pick out exactly what I needed. It’s rare to find a place that still has that authentic, neighborhood butcher shop vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future BBQs and family gatherings. Highly recommended!

I had the same experiences everyone else in the reviews. The staff is always friendly. They greet you with a smile and are more than adequate at helping you make decisions on what the best meat for your meal or any budget as well. The reason I keep coming back to them is because their mission is all about the customer. They provide a great product and the meat is always fresh. I feel blessed to have them in the neighborhood!

This is a true old school meat market. The display case is always full of fresh meat and they have a large variety of savory sausages. Been buying the Ohlburgs german sausages here for years and always been great.

Horrible customer service. Last time we went there, we asked for back goat legs. They presented us with two legs to choose from. We asked them which one was the back leg, and all of them refused answering that question, even though they knew what the answer was (it would be funny that butchers wouldn't know their meat parts). We chose the one that we thought was the right one and turned out to be wrong. Also, they touch the meats with the same gloves that they handle cash: NOT HYGIENIC AT ALL. We will never go there again and will take our business elsewhere.

The best place to purchase meat. My family has been going to this meat market since it was located on Elm and North. And the customer service skills that these men shows are amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I bought $150 of New York steaks. Once I got home and looked at the 15 steaks I realized the cut thickness was not consistent. Some were almost 1.5 inches, some an inch. Cooking two of them today on my cast iron skillet I had one that cooked to medium rare and the other was still raw inside. And it's a good, aged skillet.
The raw one was definitely a thicker cut. But consistency is key from a butcher. I get better than that from Vallarta.
Good meat (though the medium rare one was already a bit chewy).
But the quality has gone done a bit. I still recommend them for quality, though not for price.
