Pop'd in round noon on a Saturday during our Midwest visit. Very impressive retro building and tasty craft brews. Actually had fabulous live acoustic music by an artist Will Barnett at lunchtime? What a treat. Place was packed with bicyclists as it's on the trail, but this place is worth a visit, no matter how you get there.

I made the quick trip from Altoona to visit this brewery and it was worth it. Heath was friendly and offered great conversation. The beer was fresh and unique. I enjoyed the varying styles and appreciated the sample tastes he offered.
I bought some beer to-go. I'd totally come back the next time I'm in the area. You should give it a try!

Reclaimed Rails has the best craft beer that I had ever tasted. The atmosphere was very nice and has a rustic barn style look and feel. They don’t serve food here but they have a BBQ place next to them and you can order food there since they share the patio. Really love having a few drinks at this place. Summer time would be an idea place to hang out and slam down a few craft beers.

We stopped in during a bicycle ride today and enjoyed some great beers anda friendly bartender. She was awesome and friendly. I think she and my wife my be besties after that visit!

We had some seasonal beers and relaxed before heading back home in the wind. The "talking sh*%t about a pretty sunset." Was a delicious wheat beer. They should add it to their normal offerings.

This brewery has always offered some of the best brew in Des Moines.

The location is really awesome and historical. They claim that is it haunted. So maybe you could get some boos and brews! Lol!

Happened to be visiting the area and found this spot on our Beer Passport. Friendly staff, lots of different seating options and clean restrooms. Railroad related decor is fun as well. Will have RRBC on our list when we're back in the Des Moines area.

Very fine local brewery with an excellent selection of beers. It can be noisy with cyclists on summer weekends, but is a nice quiet pub during the week. A favorite place to visit with friends.
