My husband and I found out about Rainbow Ranch Farms through a free organic vegetable giveaway - in return for a little help on the farm! We admire Xenia so much for her friendship and generosity! She is a wealth of knowledge and we have never met anyone with a bigger heart! Her dedication to her animals as well as her farm members is awesome to behold! The quality of the Rainbow Ranch Farms meat is beyond compare - store bought meat just tastes nasty in comparison! The farm members we have had the pleasure to meet are some of the nicest people around!

With regard to the negative reviews:

John Brown claims Xenia is "unethical" yet clearly states his money was refunded and he was referred to another farm. I think John needs to look up the meaning of unethical. Here's a hint John: it doesn't mean she gave you your money back, went out of her way to give you the name of another farm to help you or she didn't answer "why"!

Eternal Love's review was just ludicrous. The farm's pick up hours are the hours. If it doesn't fit your schedule then move on to somewhere else that meets your needs. It has worked for the farm's "members" for years so a non-member whining about not having the hours adjusted to meet their own personal needs is just....ludicrous!

I've been buying Thanksgiving turkeys from Xenia for years, and we have loved each one. The birds have been juicy, flavorful, and so very delicious! I appreciate the work they do at Rainbow Ranch Farms and the wonderful customer service when I have specific requests. Thank you!

I also do not agree with "Eternal love's" review. She obviously knows nothing about farming and the difference between a factory farm and a real organic farm. Xenia does most if not all the work. Her first priority is the animals well being. She has little time to answer questions, this is why she lists them on her website. The farm stand is open once a month to pick up your food and help out with farm duties. This is a member operated farm. I've been a member for many years and this is the best quality meat around. Address is not posted for security reasons. Thank you Xenia & Dennis and all the members who help out! You guys are the best.

We have gotten chicken, beef, lamb and goat from the farm with Xenia, Dennis, and Mary for many years. The girls have loved going to the farm. Xenia is a wealth of knowledge. My daughter has multiple food allergies and has always done well with Rainbow Ranch Farms. We love Xenia she is like family to us and always has been.

We are thrilled to be members of Rainbow Ranch Farms, and grateful that farmers and ranchers care about humane raising of poultry and livestock, to the benefit of the environment and the health of the population. RRF's poultry and meats have incomparable flavor and texture. So far we have enjoyed their chickens, turkeys, ducks, eggs, lamb and pork--all the best we have tasted. Xenia, the farmer, is always on top of things despite the daily challenges of farm life. Please keep up your wonderful work!

I haven’t eaten any poultry in months, mainly due to how the birds are treated and fed while they are alive. When I learned about the Rainbow Ranch Farms and how they raise their poultry and other animals, I decided to give it a try. It was a much different preparation and cooking experience than the turkeys I used to purchase at the supermarket. The end result was a turkey that looked, smelled and tasted a whole lot better than any bird I had obtained before. Interestingly enough, I felt physically great after eating this turkey.

I made the trek and drove 1.5 hours to the farm to pick up the bird. Xenia gave me a tour and explained how they do what they do, and that they’ve been around since 1991. It was quite an eye-opening experience.

Our food supply is being managed mostly by big factory farms, who seem to have little regard for the well-being of the animal or the humans that eventually will be eating that animal. Their job appears to be to feed as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. That leads to animals being confined to small inhumane enclosures and injected with all kinds of hormones, anti-biotics and other items that eventually make their way to our digestive systems. It’s one of the reasons I stopped eating meat and poultry.

It’s a bit more expensive to go the Heritage Turkey route for the holidays, but it was so worth it.

Rainbow Ranch Farms is a family-run business that is doing things the right way. I was glad to support them, and will again.

We have been ordering our Thanksgiving turkey from here for several years now. I usually place my order in mid-late summer to make sure I can get one because there is a limited quantity. The quality of the meat is far superior beyond anything you can find in the supermarket! My husband scoffed at me at first because of the price, but after he tasted the difference he understands why I'm willing to pay the premium! I make bone broth out of the carcass afterwards to savor every last bit. It makes a deliciously golden and gelatinous broth. Rainbow Ranch turkeys have become part of our Thanksgiving tradition!

Xenia is a sweetheart! Her organic eggs are unbeatable in flavor! The same goes for all her farm fresh, organic, naturally fed meats. My mouth waters everytime she walks into our warehouse with new treats. Love Rainbow Ranch Farms and all they offer!!!
