It is a great local carniceria for West Oakland with all the normal choices of meats. Prices are usually fair, but everything these days are on the rise. The quality of meat is good and service behind the counters is friendly. A clean store where you can buy all the staples of a grocery store. They also have a money sending service and a Uhaul business. It's definitely worth shopping small and local at this place.

Came here to rent a UHaul truck, which is apparently a sideline of this family run grocery mart. Very nice staff, and good, old fashioned service. In and out fast with the truck rental.The small scale of this business is their advantage. You get personal service with personal attention.

Family owned, small market, I stop by to get quick items if I don’t want to go to a big grocery store but is not cheap, they have meat, dairy, and produce, and they rent u haul trucks, I think they also do western or something, not sure, is not in the best area so don’t drive all the way over here to get something small but if you live in the area check it out

The employees here are pleasant, respectful, and friendly. This is a very good store to shop if you are looking for reasonable prices. The products are fresh as well. They also have a pretty good meat selection in their meat market.

Sometimes meat is bad,check they expiration date! most time’s fruit and vegetables are not very fresh… plus the space for the vegetables look very dirty! The staff are friendly.

The worse and I believe they’re doing a little money laundry.. because no matter what card you use they ask you for a pin number for your credit card.. only pay cash here do not use your cards. And the staff is rude.. they just laugh at ask I Express my issue.. and I speak Spanish but I black so they treated me very disrespectfully..

I go to this market to get candles and links because I love the brand.
I've encountered the prejudice of ( mainly some Mexican) there . That is that they have issues with Black ( negros) speak in Spanish ( they get angry and respond in English) or believing black USA people don't speak their language.

Anyway to make long story short. Today ( and other days I've been there) The cashier's are making fun of customers and they laugh.
I'm not sure if it's malignant or just a pass time but it's a stereotype and prejudice to believe that because of someone's skin color or features are different from yours they can't or should not speak the language Spain forced on the ancestors in North Central and South America also Sierra leon and a couple other parts of Africa also Asia. It's also not professional to make fun of your customers whether they understand or not!
It's still a great store but they get 3 stars now.

Came by this place to get a U-Haul but also decided to look around and check it out. Really enjoyed the selection of items here. I am not too familiar with many hispanic markets around the East Bay but my gosh was I in love with their snacks and hot sauces- I just simply had to buy one of everything that I was missing lol. The people who work here are super friendly, made it a great experience for the whole moving day situation.
