Obviously a labor of love! Devotion, research, hard work, trial/error, laughter and tears. Blisters, I’m sure. An ongoing, organic evolution to bring the joy of farming closer. Make it a tangible thing you can hold in your hand and ask, “How did you do this?” and Sheila will tell you the story.

I’ve personally tried several products and highly recommend them all. Beautifully packaged, rustic and charming with that Diva flair.
The lavender salt scrub is particularly fantastic. I have somewhat sensitive skin and it left me silky soft, relaxed and smelling scrumptious!
My hubby stole the eye pillow, so it’s not just me saying it’s stress relief properties are “as advertised”. The size and weight are perfect, the material comfortable, lovely scent... Shall I go on? Sleep is a big deal to me, so five stars and two thumbs up!
Oh! Lavender sachets! I’ve had one in my dresser for six months, the same one, and the scent has not diminished.

So yes, I recommend EVERY THING about Ponderosa Plains Farm: The blog, the products, the yoga, the whole experience!

Wonderful products. My friends loved getting the sachets and eye pillows for gifts. I was lucky enough to be there in the fall and was invited to help put the lavender fields to bed. On another visit, Sheila led us through an excellent yoga class in the yoga studio. I am a very satisfied repeat customer.

We love stopping by and visiting this wonderful local place. I always have to take home a big jar of their honey and my wife loves anything lavender. Plus, Bob and Sheila are always such fun to talk to. I would highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood you stop by and get to know them. We have also visited their booths at various lavender festival around the state and they always have great products on display. Oh and don’t forget to get a dozen of their farm fresh eggs.

I think I’ve had a bit of everything from this place . The eggs have those bright orange yolks and about one in ten have the hens name on them. I guess when they’re laid if they see them being laid the hen gets credit. I’m frying eggs saying, thanks Kim or thanks Pearl, good job 🙂 The honey this farm produces is top notch -its all we use and we give it as gifts and everyone loves it. I’ve also tried many of the lavender products from the fresh stems to the food grade lavender, and eye pillows. It’s all good . Ponderosa farms is Sheila and Bob - a couple creating all this great stuff, very nice, down home farmers. Love their stuff!

We got our Rooster, Adam from this wonderful farm! He is such a great addition to our flock and so gentle around me and my kiddos. Sheila did a great job socializing him. She helps give Roosters a good name for sure!
