I cannot speak highly enough of Phila Brewing Co and the people who work there, especially for events! We had our wedding there in December, and Angela was gracious, kind, flexible, and helpful every step of the way—a true pro. The whole place has a great aesthetic with a fun and authentic feel, it’s a genuine Philly spot with no pretense or snobbery. We also held a funeral reception there for a dear friend, and the staff was so sympathetic and helpful, even with organizing it short notice. Whether for a casual drink or a full blown event, this is an amazingly special place with a great team running it! Also love their ciders. Thanks PBC ♥️

Awesome!
I went on a Monday afternoon. It was very chill inside with some light music and a few friends just hanging out inside. I got the Pilsner, really good. They have a lot of indoor seating and a bunch of seating outside as well. Plenty of parking in their lot, so you don’t have to worry about street parking. The bartender at the time was great, she’s super friendly. Bought a pint glass for a souvenir!

Outdoor spaces here are relaxing and fun. Lots of picnic table, Adirondack chairs and beautiful plants. Bartender was so nice and she had great suggestions. We loved the Kenzinger and it tasted great on a hot August day. They let you bring your pets and outside food. Located in a nice neighborhood. We love to stop here on the way home from Philadelphia.

I highly recommend PBC’s Tasting Room as a great place to have a party or private event. We held my wife's birthday party there and had a phenomenal experience from the moment that I hit ‘send’ on the initial email inquiry I sent.

Angela, their head of events, is extremely responsive, answers every question and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. All of the guests at the party were very impressed with the venue, the lighting and overall vibe of the room. The venue provided speakers and a microphone that were perfect for the dance party section of our party.

The bar staff were so cordial, friendly and accommodating and made my wife and all of our guests thoroughly enjoy the entire experience. It goes without saying the beer offerings were delicious (especially the Black Lager and Session Beer), but our guests also loved the wine offerings and the hard seltzer that PBC had on the menu.

As someone who worked for years in the event planning business, I can say that Angela is an absolute pro and is so kind and is such a pleasure to work with. She answered every email very promptly and thoroughly, made herself available for a walk through and made preparations for the party a fun and stress free experience.

We will certainly be considering PBC for other important events in the future. Lastly, I will mention that PBC are very up front about rental fees and different party packages, you will never have to wonder about hidden fees, PBC is all about transparency.

Philadelphia Brewing Company is a great place to enjoy drinks with friends and family. Surrounded by the local neighborhood and supported by many folks who enjoy beers and ciders, I visited the brewery to support local animal rescues The Morris Animal Refuge, and the Mac Fund for a fundraiser for cats. I had a total blast chatting with bartenders and complimenting their choice of cat t-shirts to support the kitty event. I really dug Black Cherry Cider and the Walt Whitman Wit Beer. I plan to go back there again.

There were dogs, there were children and yet we were kicked out even after buying drinks. We bought three sodas and a cocktail went to get pizza came back and ordered another soda and another cocktail and were told we did not buy enough to be able to hang out there. We used the arcade machines and were not loud and stayed out of the way and we're still told that we all needed to be carded and we all needed to leave even though no one underage was drinking or attempting to drink. I get not being at the bar of your under 21 but we were outside just talking. We felt very unwelcomed and watched the whole time. It was my boyfriend's 23rd birthday and he couldn't even play cornhole outside without getting dirty looks and being told to leave.

The drinks were weak, we didn't even get a whole can or cup of soda, and we got mean looks for no reason other then us apparently not buying enough.

Houses a casual outdoor seating facility to enjoy their wide selection of local drafts. The brewery also offers tours which, unfortunately, I was not able to check out. My only complaint would be the crass attitude of the bartender towards the customers.
