Performance Gardens in Somis is Excellent! They have a great selection of plants and trees. The people who work there are knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. Fernando is the amazing manager who leads his team the right way. They treated my wife and I very well, and I'm confident you will have a great experience too. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic selection at great prices. Worked with 3 different employees and each one really knew their stuff. I compared their prices to home depot, and they have much better prices. Shop LOCAL!!!

This nursery is destroying our neighborhood. Home Acres was beautiful and peaceful before performance moved their grow lit here. Now it is trucks trucks and more trucks. Its noise, diesel fumes and choking dust. Save Home Acres, boycott Performance

I met with Cindy Sunday 10/1 and she provided pricing for two different sized trees. When I called today 10/3 to place an order, Fernando told me I had the wrong pricing, and the amount he provided was twice the amount Cindy had just discussed with me. I was surprised by this large discrepancy, and wanted to speak with the owner to clarify why Cindy and Fernando were on two very different pages. Fernando told me I was not going to be able to speak with the owner, Tom, because he was not involved with the business. This encounter from Fernando seemed very strange, and then for him to follow it up by saying I couldn’t speak with the owner because he wasn’t involved in his own business made it even worse. Fernando said I could call back tomorrow and speak with Cindy after he’s had a chance to speak with her. Overall, he didn’t seem to care one way or another, and was rude when I asked him to repeat his name by saying “I already told you it”. Super bummed that this happened.

Had a wonderful experience choosing plants at Performance Gardens. Fernando was very helpful and knowledgeable. He assisted us in choosing the best plants for our landscaping and inside our home. The prices were very reasonable and there is a huge selection. I highly recommend!

We called before we came & they told us they had 3 olive trees and more at their Moorpark location. We drove there all the way from Ojai and when we got there they said they didn’t have any and to come back tomorrow. We were going to buy at least 6 trees. And we have bought at least 12 trees from them already. We will never go there again. Stopped at R&M nursery and another one and got the trees we needed for cheaper then what performance gardens was charging us.
