I bought a brand new $15,000 Pequea HRS 15 rotary hay rake..... Didn't even get it in the field and the curtain was dragging the ground by 3". Found out that the gearbox is not keyed or doweled to the main frame, so everything tilts to one side. The walking tandems had ridiculous pivot slop.

After the initial phone call, I never would get return calls from anyone at the place. Finally the service tech on his way to some other Farm stopped by my place and said that yeah it really shouldn't be this way, but that's the way it is.
They sent me 2 flat washers that weren't even the right size to fix the walking tandem slop and a $20 nylon bushing to keep the curtain from racking back-and-forth.

I had to resort to welding the gearbox to the main frame so that I could even use it the first day.

They said absolutely no way would they take this unit back that I was just being picky. (What would one expect for $15,000 ?)

I have shared with the company many photographs and videos of all the badness before it even went up the field.

Brand new this machine is far worse than others I've owned that had hundreds of hours on them and the customer service was horrible!

It's the greatest business I have ever visited, everyone is so nice, especially that 18 year old kid who makes the logos and decals for the company, he's very handy and gets along very well with everyone. The owner is hilarious and friendly, and everyone is friends with each other. The employees do everything they can, even take vacation days to help you fix your problems. I'm even going on a vacation in one or the employees vacation home!

Called to get some help on information about one of their trailers I have. Got tossed around a few times on phone and was told to leave a voicemail if this manager doesn’t pick up. Been a week and no one has bothered to get back to me. Not even a voicemail.

have a pequea rake and needed to get a part in the middle of hay. bought is from the Kubota dealer, they tried hard to help but the pequea people did not respond to them. it has been over 7 days and still do not have the part. When i fix the rake it will be sold and will be buying a new Kubota rake. Told everyone I know about the poor service and quality of this rake. dont waste your money on a rake by pequea!
