Im disappointed to say the least, to pay around $50 to get cafeteria grade food for two people has put this place on my do not visit list. If you want beer it’s a good place but for food I’d stay away. I can literally get better fries at the grocery stores freezer section, and to add WE HAD TO ASK for the fries even though it’s clearly on the receipt. I’ll check the reviews in a few months but I don’t think the food side is going to survive.

Love this place. The food is ridiculously good for burgers, etc. They have a sh#% ton of beers on tap and a massive patio area. Dog friendly, too.

I’m a beer guy so I really struggled with sours when they first came out. However, these folks have perfected them and my wife and I drive quite a ways to come here just for that reason.

Highly recommend. Lots of room for big parties, watch football, etc. Get in here!!!

I was looking forward to a nice lunch and a beer, as in the past. Gourmet Grub was wonderful.
I should have known better when I had to use a kiosk to place my order which resulted in cheese wiz on stale chips that was called nachos and some diced chicken on a small taco without anything else on top. There wasn’t any lettuce, salsa, or tomato, just chicken with a lime slice on the side. Horrible.
Compound this with waiting 20 minutes for this stuff.
If this brewery wants to survive and have repeat customers, please stop this food option. Serve beer only or have a food truck outside until you figure this out.
I will not return.
Sad.

Peculiar is one of our all-time favorite breweries. The interior is inviting with loads of seating, the patio is equally as spacious (great for the kids), and the chicken tenders are SO good.

I really wanted to love this place but sadly after spending $32 on a few items and $25 on 3 drinks (1 non alcoholic) we left feeling dissapointed.

I realize how difficult this industry is and I certainly realize how difficult staffing is. But the food quality just wasn’t there.

1) shoe string fries: 1/5 they were terrible. Harder than a rock. No excuses. These things were horrible.

2) Tacos: 0/5 and arguably the worst tacos we have ever had. No veggies on the tacos? Not even cabbage. Just straight deep fried chicken and some sauce. Terrible.

3) Double burger: 3.5/5 and this thing had potential but the cooks were too busy. They just slapped this thing together and sent it out. We tried to save it and repackage it! It was still very good and the best part of the meal no doubt.

4) Service was really good! But, and let me say BUT when did tipping become so F*ed in this country. Why are we tipping when we are serving ourselves? I’ve been to many breweries and I get the model but come on!

Lastly, just want to say that it could have been an off night for the kitchen as they were slammed. But stick to the beer and burger!

Peculiar was a great place. I would've given it 5 stars with the old restaurant. The food was why I came here. They are an IPA and sour heavy brewery. Which works for a lot of people. They are not my beer of choice though. With the new restaurant and food choices the place is not the same. The food is not great after the change. I truly miss the love and care the old crew would put into the food. Also I can't believe the jalapeno popper burger is gone. If you're visiting Windsor stop in. If you're a person who lives in town. There are vastly better pig themed options!

It would have been a 5 but most of the town of Windsor thinks it's a playground for children. I have had kids throw up on my feet, knock down my drink. The parents are basically non existent. Literally the only issue. Everything else is perfect.

Stopped in this week when I had a few hours between meetings. Staff was friendly, place was clean, forgot my headphones and had good music inside to listen to. The orangey grapefruit sour I had was really good. Tacos were the best street tacos I’ve had in Colorado. I wanted to stay for dinner and have more, and immediately told several friends to come here.
