Separate incident. Today 3/3/24 I went to Pavilions to pick up a loaf of bread. What I saw on the shelf knock my socks off. There were two bags of Signature brand sour dough dated best use by 2/28, and one of them had grown large area of green mold inside!! I immediately alerted store clerks about this. This is a series threat to public health, WHERE IS THE STORE MANAGEMENT I’m dumbfounded.

Starbucks shop inside this Pavilion store has an absurd & unreasonable policy regarding customer brought-in coffee bean grinding.
I brought in a bag of non-Starbucks coffee beans to be grounded and was told they couldn’t do it because of allergy concern and flavor concern.
Went to the Starbucks store next door and worker there surely did not share the concerns Pavilion had and grinded the coffee there.
To me this is bad customer service and laughable reasoning. I am okay if they don’t provide grinding for any brought in coffee beans. But doing this half-a** and give a lame reason for not doing for some struck me as being snobbish. At least the Starbucks Company does not share their concerns.
Also I share with other reviews that I prefer the Ralph’s at Hawthorne and Crest over this store for three reasons: 1) superior and more selections in produce dept.; 2) better price I can save quite a bit shopping there; 3) much better customer service. I come to Pavilions only because it’s near and I just need to pick up a few items in a hurry.
I wish Pavilions leave and Ralph’s come here!

I would not recommend the bakery for special occasions. I understand that this is a grocery store and I did not have high hopes, but somehow this stooped lower than even the lowest of expectations. They should not advertise their “custom cakes” if they are going to come out lopsided and sloppy. The lady who took my order was acting like they could accommodate to all my needs, yet none of my needs were met. For instance, what is the blue squiggle on the bottom? That mortified me. It was also not even the shape I ordered. This cake was for 21 year old and it wouldn’t even be acceptable for a 8 year old’s birthday due to the sloppiness and color scheme. I also do not understand why the bordering is so thin. Again, I did not expect a top tier cake from a grocery store, but what I pay for and order should not come to me messy.

Pavilions provides fruit Apeel, do your research, this chemical is very toxic. If you get it on your hands, wash your hands immediately…… Do NOT eat the fruit that they provide at pavilions, if they cannot prove it does not have this chemical.!
Wake up people, they are poisoning us! And the only way it will stop is if you stop buying, and harming yourself, by your own hand! I have boycotted pavilions, and I will not shop there again or any grocery store poisoning me! Shop at farmers market or local markets they do not use this chemical! Do your research…. Do you wonder why you don’t feel well, or tired all the time! You are eating harmful substances

I’ve been a loyal customer to this establishment for over ten years. There is an associate by the name of “Eddie” who rung me up. Not only did he come up as racist and disrespectful but now I never want to come back in that place. I will drive down the hill and take my business elsewhere.

I came in the store today and had a small issue regarding the carpet cleaning that I rented out and KRISIE, the manager, was so pleasant and kind. She handled the situation well! Very professional woman and will definitely always come back.

Some items are more pricey, yes, however the selection here is much better than sister brands and competitors. The cheese and wine selection here is staggering. Local Whole Foods cheese selection cannot compare.

Fresh baked bread options are not too bad either.

Lovely staff. Good vibe.
