Pasture Bird is simply outstanding (4 year purchaser of breasts, whole, thighs and wings). Quality, care and end product that stands above anything non-pastured raised. I appreciate people having different taste buds and perspectives, but how anyone can honestly rate their products less than 4-5 stars is perplexing to me. One comment for Pasture Bird. I would love to support you (Pasture Bird) directly by purchasing through your website, however prices are higher than what I can purchase through Sprouts. I am so happy Pasture Bird is in Sprouts, but perhaps prices could more align with what Sprouts charges so I could buy direct and cut out the third party. I do understanding merchandising can be complex, but know that there are those of us who value what you do and would opt to support you directly if it was not cost prohibitive. Keep up the great work, you are doing a fantastic service to the environment, the product and the health of those of us who consume chicken.

I am concerned how two reviews assure that this company is now owned by Perdue and this statement not being clarified contradicted by the company. I have spent considerable money at my local organic store thinking this chicken was the real deal. I tried to call the number posted here and shockingly it doesn’t exist anymore? Wow.

Some of these reviews are a bit twisted… My wife and I have been ordering from Pasturebird for a bit over a year now. The chicken is always delightful. We had one issue recently, and their team was quick to resolve the issue. I was impressed with their timeliness and customer service.

I've been ordering from Pasturebird for over a year. The chicken is always flavorful, well packaged, delivered in a short amount of time, and well priced. The customer service is fantastic. I've reach out with several questions over the months and Meredith has always responded the same day. Pasturebird has the BEST priced pasture raised wings I've found yet. I read the negative reviews reviews on here and they are simply not true. Rest assured that the customer service is 5 star.

Our 30 pack came in just a couple days. We finally got to dig in to our first meal after some defrost time. It's incredible. The quality/taste of the 'free range' chicken from the supermarket had left me skeptical that a truly pasture raised chicken would taste good.
I was on the verge of going back to being a vegetarian if I couldn't find some responsibly & humanely raised chickens from a trusted source!

We look forward to ordering again.

I just received my first box of Pasturebird chicken, and I’m extremely happy with the product. It was delivered completely frozen, and the meat is individually packaged and labeled. I don’t know why the other reviews would say it tastes like “Perdue”...there is quite an obvious flavor difference to me and my family. It has a MUCH more complex flavor. The dark meat is even darker than what I typically notice, and the marrow just bubbles and oozes out when you bake the drumsticks. I have never been able to find this level of quality/freshness with grocery store meat. Yes, it’s more costly, but in my opinion it is well worth it. Thank you for such a superior product...this family sure does appreciate it!

I have bought their chicken from cow crowd for some time now. It is excellent and I love how it is raised. I just purchased direct from Pasturebird, which I love it coming from them directly. It is very sad to read the reviews some people write. This is a family business who feeds and raises their chickens properly. I find it interesting that some people are comparing it to Purdue chicken have you ever seen how a Purdue chicken is raised? There is no comparison. Pastor chicken is probably the best chicken I have eaten and I will always continue to buy it I enjoy knowing where my chicken comes from and how it is raised properly.
