This restaurant is in a very good location just in front of Piedmont Park. I ordered the Burrito bowl and it came with chicken breast which I dislike and the menu did not describe, so I sent it back and ordered the Beef brisket, which is nothing impressive. The menu should clearly say what part of chicken is served because there are people who dislike certain parts of the meat.

Park Tavern was awesome! The ambiance was amazing.. The food was your average bar food, nothing too fancy. I loved how many people were dog people and how many people brought their dogs.

The patio dining area had water bowls for the puppies. You order at the bar and then you pick up inside the restaurant. The restaurant is magical with fairy lights from top to bottom.

Park Tavern gets 5 stars as a bar! I wouldn’t say it’s a restaurant even though they do sell food. It’s a great place to come watch a game, although it does get really crowded. It’s indoor outdoor, but most of the TVs are only visible from inside and you need to get there EARLY to get a table for a game. The drinks are decent and affordable. I’ve only ever had the chicken tenders and fries, but they’re pretty good for what it is. They do live music and other themed events here too, but they do get really crowded. Bar and bathroom lines can get pretty long.

Parking is $10 which includes $5 voucher at Park Tavern (plenty of free street parking across the street).

We were there on a Sunday lunch time, you self-order at the patio bars, then they collect your phone number, and will text you when food is ready (ours took ~15-20 min), then you go inside of the restaurant to pick it up.

Most of the employees we had interactions with were meh... don't except the great service if that's what you value a lot.

Food was okay, a bit pricey, but considering the location, it's not too bad. This is a fairly self-service restaurant. Just know what they have in offer, so you can set the right expectation when you come visit this place and won't have surprises.

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had after years of being a faithful customer here. First off there is absolutely no one available to greet you and explain how anything works. I.e there are NO waiters. I eventually walked to the bar to inquire how to order. Once I asked, the bartender was extremely rude and condescending as if I’m the owner of the establishment or as if there are posted guidelines somewhere.

Next I was not told food pick up was inside the restaurant I literally had to figure it out myself as I did not want to interact with the rude bartender any longer for my own peace of mind. The grilled chicken sandwich had NO seasoning whatsoever and was extremely bland. I also ordered a buffalo chicken dip which I watched sit under the lamp for over 30mins while they prepared the sandwich that was ordered at the same time.

Not to mention the kitchen staff was also having a “meeting” mid food pick up and their manager was literally berating and belittling them in every way. In return they laughed in her face which was interesting to see from both ends. All in all I would not recommend and really hope they’re put under some sort of new management. The responses to reviews are also more than telling when it comes to customer service so best of luck.

The location is great but I had two drinks from here that were terrible. The first drink I stomached and asked the bartender if they could switch my second one out for something that didn’t taste like cough syrup. They denied and shrugged their shoulders, won’t be back.

We’ve come to the park tavern every year prior to seeing the botanical lights. This year was disappointing. The order at the counter and have to track down your food made it so we will never return. This restaurant used to be our favorite place in midtown, on the belt line, to bring family, etc. The staff seemed like we were interrupting them by being there. The service was nonexistent. The food was not good. What happened to the delicious sushi menu, friendly staff and festive ambiance? We will not be returning.

Eh the food here is ok. It's convenient to eat here since we came for ice skating, however I'd likely choose another place to eat if coming to visit again.
Visited on a Monday night and when we walked in, we didn't see anyone working the space. We had to walk around for a bit and finally saw someone working the bar in the corner, she was the only person working that night and was very nice and friendly, but some signage at the entrance would be nice.
The food was prepared pretty quickly but the standout was the fried shrimp, generously portioned and cooked well. The salmon bowl definitely needed some type of additional flavor and the queso became thick and cold very quickly as if it was never properly heated. Felt like a waste of money sadly.
