This is a local family business. I got my first deer harvest this year and came here because I do business with them for car inspections.

They had an assembly line of deer and a clean operation but had mine completely processed in 2 days. I paid for a standard cut with 1lb to donate, 2 bags of smokies and a Euro Mount with Vacumn sealed meat.
Also got a doe which i donated to a had his button buck processed here as well.

I used to be in restuarant management so naturally I eyeballed the kitchen and prep area- the cutting boards, and floor and equipment when i dropped off and picked up and everything was clean, doors are open so you can see the facility is small and kept very clean to standards. They also have an external freezer trailer to make sure everything stored properly.

Shane went out of his way to show me pictures of the rear that was discolored that they didnt use ( I had a liver shot and the deer took a day to recover due to weather) so they take thier time to make sure the meat is the proper color and quality and anything questionable was discarded. Its attention to detail like that which is why I trust these people.

Shane, Seth , John ( and thier wives) and the rest of family are all good honest hardworking people. These are the types of businesses that make me proud of living in the Erie area

I will recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. The cheddar smokies were absolutely amazing, next year I will just pay to have have multiple bags of them, totally worth it!

I have to imagine this is a tough business to be in. I’ve gone to Pacileos with my father for decades. We were grateful this year to get my buck processed in just a few short days in advance of our return south out of town. Dudes couldn’t have been nicer who helped us get checked out.

I’ve been able to sample the meat since and it’s great. I feel I got a ton of meat back and was happy to donate a lb to their charity work. A+ thanks for still being here decade after decade. You are appreciated by the community.

I paid over $200 for a basic cut with no roasts or steaks. All I asked for was burger and for them to butterfly my backstraps. All the silver skin was left on the straps and they didn’t even butterfly them like I asked. To avoid everything getting freezer burnt I chose to repack and vacuum seal everything due to most of the meat being packed loosely in plastic bags. For the money spent, I would have expected a better job.

Outstanding Service to the local deer hunting community!!!
Pacileo’s offers a professional deer processing service with a lot of choices.
Nice to see they are part of the Hunters Sharing the Harvest program also.
Took another buck to them this year for a brilliant butchering job turning my eight point into roasts, steaks, chops, burger with pork, and great Hot Italian Pepper sausage made!
Thank You for being there for the community!!
Cooked a coil of the Hot Italian Pepper Sausage with sweet onions and garlic in butter. Put it on some Reuben rye bread with some chili sauce.
That is the best venison sausage I’ve ever had!!!
“Thank You Pacileo’s”

Poorly packaged meat in plastic wrap with twist ties that is not ready to get frozen and they did not clean up the meat or cut any fat off at all. If I wanted my deer quartered and put into plastic bags I would have done it myself. And yes I have butchered my own deer countless times before, I know I could have done a way better job than these guys.

Had a deer made into sausage there, 60 some lbs of sausage "maple" and Italian. Cost over $230 and it's the worst sausage I've ever had. Dry as a bone and salty. Go elsewhere for your processing.
