We went to so many bakeries in search of the perfect wedding cake, and in the end, Pacific Ranch Market bakery won by a mile. The experience from cake tasting to wedding day was perfect.

For the cake tasting, Carmen gave us different individual containers for cake flavor, filling, frosting, whipped cream, etc and we had the chance to pair different combinations. We requested to have fresh strawberries, and they were able to incorporate them. They also added white chocolate curls which made our cake super pretty.

On the morning of the wedding day, our friend dropped off flowers and they decorated the cake beautifully. They were also able to deliver to the venue seamlessly and in time for the reception. They even baked us a mini cake to take home.

As for the market itself, this is a neighborhood grocery store, and you can find unique ingredients here. Their prepared food is really good as well.

Great local Market they have top shelf items all through their store and specialty items you can't find anywhere 😀 they have prepared food items and full dinners both cold and hot and freshly made sandwiches. They do a special Chinese food offering on Wednesday. If if your a gourmet cook or just love really great food items you gotta try this place.

I called around in search for a specific product and couldn’t find it anywhere. Most people answered the call and hung up on me or left me on hold for over 10 minutes. Kim, answered my call, walked the floor and provided a thorough search to locate the product and provided me with excellent customer service! This will be long.
I was yelled at by one of their staff Sunday, Oct 20 at 4:30pm. I go in just about every week to the deli counter, ordering the same 5 items. I always start with “I’m ordering a few things, all will be 3/4lb, thin cut.” Usually, the workers will write it down, repeat my order, no problem.

The guy helping me (non-yeller) had a language barrier, nor was he writing anything down, so I knew it was going to take awhile. I didn’t even get my 1st item ordered, without him either not understanding or hearing what I said. He asked his co-worker (the yeller) what I said, and gives me a harsh look and says “Did you ask for CANOLA?!” I replied, “No, I asked for Genoa” – emphasizing Genoa (again no sure if it was a hearing, or understanding thing). The lady waiting behind me even said, “She asked for Genoa.”

The yeller guy looks at me dead in the face & says loudly in front of the other customers, “Hey. Don’t snap at me, alright.” I did not yell, snap, or curse. My only regret is not getting the manager right then and there. I was so upset & humiliated, I grabbed the 1 item, and left; I didn’t even get to ordering the rest.

When I got home, my husband asked me what the heck happened & I told him. He drove out to the store to talk to the manager on duty and they went over to the yeller guy in the service deli. When confronted, he acted like nothing happened, stumbling over his words, totally walking everything back.

My husband was then given the name of the store owner, who I tried to call this morning. I was on hold for over 10 minutes before I finally hung up.

Needless to say, they are never getting my business ever again. Period.

5 stars for their catering: I can't think of any other place that could have a sushi and sandwich platter ready by 9am. And both tasted superb!

Staff are very friendly and eager to accommodate.
The meat, fish, deli section is my favorite in Orange County —- nothing but quality. And the meat is routinely cut to perfection.
The salsa and dips are homemade and fantastic. Don’t buy their store-made chips and Queso dip and think you’re going to eat a few. It will own you!
Great wine prices.
Great produce section.
And did I mention the friendly staff?!

That rating is too high. So today around I’d say around 4:45, I went into the store and asked to change my clothes cause I had an issue. The lady got freaked out because I brought in a backpack with my clothes in it. She brought I can assume a manager Over to tell me store policy was that I can’t bring my backpack into the store for some stupid reason when that’s why I brought my backpack in the first place to keep is to hide my clothing.

Update: I had an issue and all I wanted was to clean up and leave. All they did was make a big deal out of my backpack so I will not be coming back here. EVER
