I tried getting in this place for quite a few years not realizing they're only open on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights. But tonight I got my opportunity and boy did I find a awesome hidden gem. Absolutely outstanding food and coffee brewed to perfection.

My daughter and I stopped for coffee, ended up staying for dinner and took home dessert. Everything was amazing! The atmosphere, the people, the food. I think this may be our new favorite place!

I ordered single origin Tanzania Peaberries and that is what the package said that I got. Inside however I found just the ordinary bigger flat sided beans (bulk on the right in the picture). The flattened side of ordinary coffee beans results from the fact that 2 beans grow within a single berry. Real peaberries (left on the picture - NOT from Out of The Grey Coffee) are typically smaller and with a round shape - distinct from ordinary beans, resulting from the fact that only one bean grows in a berry - that simple fact makes a peaberry - a peaberry. The Shipment was also accompanied by lots of religious blessings. So I felt I was supposed to *believe* that the coffee they have shipped to me was in fact peaberries from Tanzania. But here I failed - I do not believe. About the roast I can say it was as expected a medium roast but on the darker bolder side with slightly oily beans. For real Tanzania coffee (sorry to say it again: I do not believe I've gotten this) I prefer the light to medium roast resulting in light brown not oily peaberry beans. The taste: not like Tanzania coffee - more like a Pike Place form the Starbucks around the corner like a good Columbian coffee. - I give three stars because I will end up drinking the coffee (I had way worse) but would I reorder? - I don't think so.

Out Of The Grey Coffee is a remarkable business. I have ordered many different flavors for home and as gifts. They are great with shipping and getting you your purchase in a timely manner. Everyone I have sent their coffee as a gift, has loved it. They are my only go to for coffee and tea.

The coffee tastes like microwaved water, the food was fine but expensive, and the wait for being fourth in line is roughly 25 minutes. Also the place was filled with incredibly loud teenagers.

Edit: Justin 10:8 And saying, how about you put down the bible and read a book on how to cook first? You'll never reach the kingdom of heaven serving crap food like that.

Out of the Grey coffee is amazing! It is rich and smooth and always an enjoyable cup. We have tried many flavors, and all have been great. We appreciate the owners as well and their desire for excellence and great customer service!
