They use to be in yhe Eastland Shopping Center for about 20 years then they moved to this location 9 years ago. The store looks good, clean & neat, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are good for the portions. Their soups change daily and for those who love a grilled cheese sandwich they have 3 types to choose from. This was my first time at this location. I will be back! 😉

I had a pleasant visit, my meal was the 3 piece broasted chicken combo, this is a nice restaurant/ deli.

> Chicken was served hot, crispy coating, good flavor and moist meat. The only problem was that I was not advised, when placing the order, that it would take 20 minutes to serve. Had I known, I would have purchased something else, as I was dining with others that had to wait for me to finish my meal.
> Potatoes, very large skin-on wedges, tasty and served hot.
> Rolls, excellent, served with butter and honey.
> Potato salad, very good (another choice was coleslaw).

A truly hidden gem in Covina. They have a plethora of baked goods here. Their salads and entrees are super delicious here too. I enjoy all the flavors that come with my food and the vintage & ambient setting.

This place never disappoints! I never walk out of here without grabbing some dessert. I got me a New York style hot dog with jalapenos on it. This dog has a whole lot of flava!! Whatever you crave this place has! The sweet ladies at the counter were very attentive to us with excellent customer service. ?✊?✌?

First time here.

I Googled "deli" as I was in the mood for a good pastrami sandwich. It found this place and I sure am glad it did.

When you walk in you can tell this is the real deal. Long line but it went rather quickly.

I opted for a cold pastrami with mustard, pickles, mayo and that's it. Also got some potato salad on the side.

Maybe cause it was lunch, but the order took a bit. But it was worth the wait.

The pastrami itself was super tasty, very delicious and full of flavor. The bread was fresh.

I will definitely be back for more !!

Went to try this place for the first time and was whole heatedly disappointed.
The staff were very kind and answered my questions, I cannot complain about that. We ended up getting a pastrami sandwich and a corned beef (Reuben Style) For two people. I made my sandwich a combo which for $3 more you get a pathetic portion of extremely sweet potato salad. The pastrami was fine, nothing special. When you're charging nearly $20 for a sandwich, I feel like it should be more than fine, just nothing stood out about it. My Ruben style corned beef however was extremely disappointing. They used mustard instead of Russian dressing(or even thousand Island) and I couldn't even tell if there was any sauerkraut. It felt like a high school lunch sandwich. The sandwiches were big enough that you'd be satisfied from the sandwich but not big enough to take half home for later. Maybe my expectations were high from the long-standing reviews of this deli, but I left feeling absolutely ripped off. We got a cannoli on the way out because the lady helping us mentioned it and the tiramisu were the only desserts they made in house. The cannoli was decent. I can't help but feel that I should have ordered a meatball sandwich or another option for my meal. At this price point, I expected better.

Cute place. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The grilled cheese and deli sandwiches were very tasty.
