Don't let the name fool you. These are not New York style bagels. They are way too bread-y. Bagels should have a somewhat hard/crunchy exterior with a nice soft interior. Almost like a soft pretzel. The woman at the front counter was great

The bagels are generally good and have been worth a 20 minute drive vs settling for supermarket or dunkin. But I picked up a bag today and when I got home was surprised to find some were over cooked especially the cinnamon crunch which was burnt.. I will go back there but will look at my bagels before driving home.

The service and employees are very good. Cream cheese is also very good. I got a half dozen bagels, 3 sesame, and 3 everything. The reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that, while the bagels were well made and proper, they were not to my particular personal preference. They seem to be made with a bit darker, or whole wheat flour, or something like that. If you like that kind of a bread product, you might find these bagels to be excellent. For me, though, while I ate all but one of them over the course of a few days, they just were not for me, overall. Sorry to say that I'll just have to look elsewhere.

I give five stars when a place does what it purports to do, exceptionally well. This unfussy little place consistently turns out great New York-style bagels with flavorful cream cheese or sandwich toppings. It's staffed by really nice people, too, a mom and her daughter are the core of the group. And, they try hard to serve you, an attitude I'd like to see more of. An example: London Fog lattes aren't on the menu, but they figured it out for me and will make me one on request.
A bit more about the bagels, though, they are crisp skinned and chewy on the outside and soft in the middle, the way H&H used to make them in Manhattan. This is because they boil them before baking.

We had the jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and the sesame bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. A nice little place to sit outside and eat.

Accidental find but so so glad that we stumbled on this gem. Bagels are light without the density found in other bagel places. We had a Seaport on an everything, Turkey Cuban and an uncle Jerry with sausage. Amazing bagel sandwiches . Extra surprise…..the coffee was also quite good.
