Last night I went to Notch8 for the first time because my friend was the DJ for the first night of karaoke there. This place is really awesome. There was plenty of roomy seating even as it got crowded. The sound was fantastic. The atmosphere, and every employee I encountered, was friendly and upbeat. Everything was clean and the decor was comfortable yet stylish. And I wanted to mention something that at first may sound trivial. I've only been to a few places that will give you a nonalcoholic soda free of charge. And typically, most places give free refills after you pay for the first one. At Notch8 last night, I ordered a bit more of a 'fancy' nonalcoholic drink, extra red stuff, extra cherries. I'm normally always charged for this drink and rightly so IMO. But here, the sweet bartender put down the drink, I held out my $ and she said, "It's on the house". This indicates a certain old fashioned classy-ness and speaks volumes of the way the owner wants his venue to be presented. I recommend Notch8 100%

I wanted to try the food on a Friday night. I was hoping to catch some live music. It was a bit too early. Music goes on at 8pm. The blueberry lemonade was good. The pizza was fabulous. Not so much the ribs. They did not have enough sauce so the taste was a bit bland.

Used to be our favorite dive bar, The Spot. Now it's cleaned up and family friendly. Frequent live music which is a big plus. Food is fine. Large beer selection.

First time dinning at Notch 8 and I can’t wait to go back! We started with the kale salad and loved the light lemon vinaigrette. Pizza was delicious and loved that they had so many options. We enjoyed their outdoor seating and the watched the trains go by.

Just received our delivery order via Grub Hub. My $10 French onion soup is in a half pint container and was not the slightest bit warm. It was mostly cheese and croutons as you can see in the picture. I literally wish I could make this up. Quite possibly the weirdest thing I have seen.. I also ordered mashed potatoes as a side that I also had to warm back up again. This was our first time ordering from them, which was disappointing, to say the least. It came with a smiley face on it, so I thought, "Wow, this might be delightful!" I am currently eating warm cheese with a ladles full of soup.. don't get me wrong, the soup was great. I wish I had more of it..

I had to edit this after seeing your topNOTCH response back to someone. Honestly, I absolutely loved it. It was amazing and had a good laugh.

OMG so happy we found this spot. It is like being in vacation, especially when there's live music outside. The food was fresh and tasty, the fruity drinks are good, the servers are friendly and the vibe is right. Oh and they have misters, so if you just got your hair done, straightened it or blow-dried wear a hat. I cannot wait to go here again.
