I just experienced the worst customer service in recent memory. I was all full of happiness because I had the 10th free refill. I was informed that the tank expired can't fill it. O.K. It was just filled a month ago from them but alright. He says I can sell you a new one. Pausing , again I said hmmm I did just fill it. You have a receipt. Huh? You know It's a he said she said situation. You just called me a liar. I have a card with 9 tags ready for a free one plus one with 4 tags on it. I need a receipt? I was 3 seconds from buying the new one and continuing 25 years of good will and loyalty down your tubes. Wow. I've been 45 years in sales, real estate sales with my own company. If I heard that, you would have been fired then.

When they sell you a replacement tank because your old one expired, you may get a recertified old tank in exchange. The recertification mark is a postage-stamp-sized white label placed on the tank. If that label gets wet, the ink washes off and you're left with an expired tank. They wouldn't fill it for me (even though it has their Norwood Gas sticker on it from last season). I tried to explain that to the owner, but he was defensive, beligerent and uncomfortably aggressive.

Fast service and when you pay for mine refills you get the tenth one free. When you've got a grill and fire pit you use during the summer almost daily. That savings adds up rather quickly!
