Please ignore the negative comments here about prices and quality. I’ve been a customer for many, many years in Cleveland Park. Virtually everything from New Morning Farm is fresher (all grown just 100 miles due north of DC, not California, Mexico, or Chile) than Whole Foods and the prices for the organic produce are almost always in the same ballpark as Whole Foods. The farmers are always on hand to share recipes, advice, and good cheer. Delightful!

Always overpriced. Much more expensive, for example, than Whole Foods (which is itself already way overpriced).

Quality of produce very variable. Last Saturday, for example, I bought a carton of donut peaches. By evening, that same Saturday, most of them had rotted. I've had similar experiences with their berries.

Customer relations iffy. Passive/aggressive cashiers.

In my opinion the operators are agrarian hustlers from Pennsylvania who have figured out how to score big in an affluent DC neighborhood.

Everything here is so much fresher than anything you can get around DC. I live in Arlington and the prices and Quality at New Morning Farm both compare favorably to the markets that I have near my house. There isn't even a point in comparing New Morning farm to most grocery stores - the product they sell is so much better it makes any price comparison impossible.
