This is one of my very favorite stores in Colorado Springs! Don't let the size of the storefront confuse you it packs in items hard to find anywhere else! I specifically go for the whole grain wheat berries, and the honey. The prices are beyond reasonable and I've found them to be better than Sprouts, whole foods, natural foods, etc., Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Love this place. They make vegan spring rolls on Thursdays and I try to get there right after work before they sell out. They also have pizza dough on Thursdays and I bought for the first time and it turned out amazing!! Vegan desserts are so good. My favorite is the vegan tres leches.

I love supporting local businesses. I love the fresh homemade soups and deli with grab n go salads as well as the made to order sandwiches and salads. I send everyone here that I meet from out of town as well as patients that need to buy supplements. It’s small but so packed with most of what you need.

We are fortunate to have a locally owned organic and natural grocer that carries a huge variety of products. They have items you will not find in any other store in town. Check them out for healthy produce, groceries, supplements, bulk foods, bakery, dairy, frozen and deli!
I've found helpful people to answer questions and point me to specify products.
Give them a try and you'll likely find a new favorite product!

Another great shopping organic foods evening at Mountain Mama's. Always the best foods anywhere and their selection of high fiber and tasty nuts and snacks is amazing. Great customer service from very knowledgeable staff. 5 Thumbs Up always!

A quick stop will serve you well, had the best grilled cheese sandwich and take home comfort foods chicken pot pies ever! Excellent customer service and always friendly and helpful.

I was going to put 2 stars because i had a great conversation with a worker that was stocking in the loose tea area. But had to put one star because there was another male worker that kept grilling me with a smug look and never asked if I needed assistance as I was obviously looking around for items, he was walking around and kept on peeking around the corner and at points following me around the store. Upon check out he was leaned over elbows on the counter behind the register I was checking out at on his cell phone the entire time. Lighten up, your customers do not like this kind of energy, as I read the same thing in multiple other reviews. Not a comfortable experience!

I love independently-owned and operated natural food stores. It takes a lot of skill, patience, sweat, and tears to survive as an independent. Mountain Mama's is a prime example of what can be accomplished when you want it to be and give it your love and dedication.

It's simply one of the best natural food stores that I have ever experienced. Mount Hope in Cottonwood, Arizona is another example as is Semilla Natural Foods in Las Vegas, NM, and both of those stores opened in the late 1960's or early 1970's and have survived.

Mountain Mama has it all. There fresh food counter and juice bar delicacies make it not only a place to shop but also a nice place to eat. The working folks inside are all friendly and knowledgable so your questions will be answered righteously. It's my kind of place even though I live 3.5 hours away in Folsom, NM; I'll be back regardless and thank them for staying strong in these weird times.

Oh yes, they have a huge selection af great products, thoughtfully chosen brands.
