Young nice girl helped me today around Noonish. Very cheerful. Totally different experience from before when that lady with the brown shoulder length hair (she has some red in it right now) She just stands there almost indifferent to me when I say hello. Yet she loves talking to fellow co-workers. She's too old to behave that way. Back to the good, Mother Truckers is the best health food store I've ever been in 🙂 They have it all at great prices

Mother Truckers, a great store. Excellent huge bunches of parsley today in the produce section. Feeling sick so was delighted to see locally marked/grown carrots & beets. Good prices. We're trying to avoid mass produce sticking more local since they can be recalled like cucumbers last month. Chatted with the produce lady, she said she'd check into Red Russian Kale. A nice person, I should've gotten her name. This kind of Kale has massive amounts of sulforaphane. She showed me the broccoli which looked wonderful, a deep green color and it's in season right now but I'm not a fan of broccoli. Yet after googling broccoli, it also has a good amount of sulforaphane too. It's always a great experience to go to that store. We drive all the way from Sierra City yet I was alone today. Someday we hope to move somewhat near Mother Truckers.

Couldn't believe coming in here to originally buy water and a snack, that instead stumbled upon the holy grail of beer: Pliny The Elder! Coolest little store in any direction, punches way above its weight.

A necessary store for locals. The prices are high, because it's off the beaten path. They have a good produce section, though the store is small. There's fresh coffee. A port-a-potty outside for customers.
Honestly, the store was more appealing when it provided fresh sandwiches and hot foods like breakfast burritos and samosas. Since the Country Store, which provided those grab-n-go items, closed earlier this year, I haven't been shopping there nearly as much.
Also, since the onset of Covid, the store has been adding a 5% tax to shoppers, to give the workers a "hazard pay". So if you are not into that or just can't afford it, ask to remove the added fee.

Cute little shop, literally half the store is on sale at any given point and for ALL the way out there I don't how they keep it cheaper than regular stores

Fabulous health food store that seems in the middle of nowhere, but serves many in the surrounding community. Another tiny store with a lot of offerings. They have a Mother-store in Nevada City. Great spot to stop even when just out on a drive. You'll always find something good!

First time at this establishment. What a unique store in the middle of a tiny town. Great customer service and my 4 year old granddaughter was thrilled that she got to push her own little shopping cart around the store.
