I've had a 1/4 cow done here and the meat looked spoiled and brown and had a funky off taste.... my wife wouldn't eat it. this is some ham that my brother in law got done here, again my wife wouldn't eat it..... hard for me to choke it down too.

We bought a 1/4 of a beef from TVR Meats in Pella and Moravia Meat Locker did the beef aging and butchering. We picked our meat up today and Moravia Meat locker did an Amazing Job. Had steaks tonight. Absolutely Wonderful.
They have beef and pork, beef sticks and some bison burger.
Try them out and you can buy beef from TVR Meats in Pella.

Vanishing meat Locker..!!
I've beef getting beef from farmers and meat lockers for 15 years. I just got home with my 1/4 beef and feel like I was literally robbed. There are cuts just plain missing, roasts are tiny, soup bones are FLAT..!! Apparently my cow only had 1 arm and 4 ribs.. 55 pounds of groud beef from a QUARTER!?!?!?!?!?127lbs total..lol I mean I didn't even get all the cuts that were listed on my cut sheet that they wrote down. I should have been suspicious when they had me bring my coolers in and they loaded it for me!!!

Shady business stole the filets out of my cow we had processed. I asked for whole filets and the package was cut up scraps that were not filet. Took 6 months to find out. Called and spoke to a guy that got really rude with me and called me a liar.

I had not used this lockers services previously because, well, only because its not close to me. I drove 1hr & 20 min to this locker because this was the closest locker I could get my beef in at now. All lockers close to me are booked out until spring. Very knowledgeable & friendly staff here! Easy to work with. Well worth the trip & I would definately consider again in the future!

I received 5 packages of fillets which I was short on after asking for 2 whole tenderloins when I addressed the owner he told me his paperwork wasn't wrong although an employee of his filled it out over the phone with me and they don't make mistakes, 5 very small packages of loin chunks he called fillets and they equalled 1 whole loin and 1 chunk out of what would be the 2nd loin very crooked buisiness will never be back. Don't buy meat from a locker that sells beef as these are more then likely customer takeaways.

This meat locker is under new management and they are great. You get what you want and no shortage. They'll even cut certain meats to your prefer thickness. Great group that works there and the brothers that own it are really down to earth and know a lot about the area since they are from there.
