This isn’t one of the larger commissaries but it has the necessities and it definitely came in handy in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. It was also very convenient when we lived on the base at Wescoat Village. A couple times I brought a few grocery items then got home and realized they were expired. Overall this commissary has been a good replacement for shopping at Safeway which is way more expensive. Oh, did I mention they offer both paper and plastic bag options and they’re FREE.

Military base commissary! Interesting selection of foods and great prices! The commissary is still open and Google has begun working on the old Blimp Hanger!!

Great location, although the only one in the peninsula. They have a great selection of items, given how small their overall volume must be. Sadly, some items don't get restocked frequently, and it's a pain to figure out who can help you find out when they will be in stock.

For those items that are in stock, sometimes they are close to date of expiration - which is typical for commissaries. This location probably does it less frequently than most, anecdotally.

An excellent place to get everyday things you need. Within walking distance from Navy Lodge. Must be active / retired military, DOD employee or military veteran in order to shop here.
