My wife and I were excited to visit this little mart but once we arrived we realized we were being followed around the store as if we were going to steal something by the workers. After a few minutes we began to record the store employee following us and once she saw our phone she turned around. When we initially walked in the employee walked from behind the counter as if she was going to greet us but instead she followed us for 5 minutes fixing chip bags and candy. We felt uncomfortable so we left. Wouldn’t recommend coming to this establishment they don’t even try and hide the fact that they follow you. It’s sad

The atmosphere is amazing and the selection of items is always growing, so there is always something new to try. The staff is extremely friendly. Prices are very reasonable as well. Great experience all around.

The store is quite unique compared to most. It has a wide variety of Asian merchandise that will make you pleasantly surprised whenever you browse along side getting what you need. And it is surprising large too! So you would be browsing for a while because of that.

really good to have a [Japanese-centric] store in town, especially one close and with such a huge variety. my only comments are that it was a bit muggy in there and it's only April, so i am a bit afraid of what it might feel like in the summer... and that it needs more J-beauty. ? like the Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel Gold.. haha. just more brand variety and products would be nice!

A very nice place to get most of your Asian food and other supplies in a friendly environment. Fantastic ice cream with red bean paste. Food, kitchen supplies, figurines, candy, candy, candy!

First time I went, bought a lot of food and one of the refrigerated noodle item gave me a massive sickness. The expiration date inside the packet said the item expired over a year ago. I don't know where they're getting these expired items from. I also got ice cream that's individually wrapped and it was melted completely and refrozen. I have lost my trust in this place.

It's nice to have more Japanese specific ingredients available, this place definitely fills that niche here. The layout is her bright and open and spacious, this is helped by having shelves that are half height instead of like 7 feet tall. But the prices are often times twice that of the Oriental market on Cushman. Maybe once the prices are lower I'll come again.

This is such a wonderful addition to Fairbanks! So many great diverse snacks, ingredients, and goods! I highly recommend this place.
