This is the place of happy horses. My time here with Dru, my trainer, is fantastic. She cares for her horses and others with love and experience one would expect of an experienced horse woman.

She is patient and offers lessons from children to adults. Her years of experience shine through in ways of teaching and riding. She completes your training with horsemanship, groundwork, and riding.

I highly recommend sending yourself and/or your kids here.

Regardless of riding style, there is something for you here.

We live in the neighborhood and heard that you can take riding lessons at the ranch, which led us to visit it to inquire more. As soon as we entered, we went towards the welcome centre which was empty. Confused onlookers asked if they could help us. We let them know we were visiting, hoping they would point us to a reception/registration desk. This is when one of them (The instructor) in a downright rude tone mentioned that it was private property. We were genuinely unaware of the fact and mentioned the same but the ridiculous rude tone continued. The entire conversation could have had been a simple statement which said, ah this is a private property. The thing I'd like to highlight is that she was extremely rude which is the complete opposite of what you experience in the pacifica community

Millwood Ranch is a beautiful 160 acre horse ranch tucked behind Terra Nova high school that gives you the feeling of being up north a couple hours away. It is both a full service boarding facility with instruction in either Western or English riding. Some horses are available for lease or lead line pony rides. 3 different sized arena's to choose from, 1 is covered and has lights for evening rides after sundown.

The worst ranch I have ever ridden at. The place is a pig pen, the arenas suck and the owner is clueless. They say they have improved, hahaha
Yes, you have great trails, but that is it. Try getting the right permits for your arenas. They are a hazard to the horses. They have huge turnovers of boarders because they promise the world and deliver nothing. I would NEVER board a horse there. The paddocks are crappy and offer little to no shelter from the elements. Get your crap together Millard Tong. Your ranch is in dire need of an overhaul.

All the care and concern for the animals well-being is impeccable. They truly love their what they're doing over there and it shows what the health of and the well-being of the animals of there. The ranch manager over there brilliant mechanic and all around good dude he gets the jobs done that needs to be done.

Love Millwood Ranch in Pacifica! We are so lucky to have stables here in Pacifica. The horses have large paddocks and two large areas for riding.
