This location of Millie’s is their factory where they make their ice creams and also give tours to customers at certain times. During my tour, a tour guide explained how they process milk, mix and cook ingredients, and cool and package the ice creams. The tour lasted about 90 minutes, and I enjoyed seeing the machines, tasting some ingredients, and receiving a pint of ice cream to take home.

We booked a tour for Father's Day weekend a few months ago thinking that this would be the perfect day activity for our family and we couldn't have been more right! Our tour guide Quinn educated our group on everything from milking cows to adding in ice cream colors/flavors. I was so glad to hear that Millie's is and uses all natural ingredients because my family chooses to eat all natural food. We HIGHLY recommend signing up for a tour and I hope you get Quinn as a tour guide, you will not be disappointed!!

The tour today was absolutely great ! The guide Quinn was a lot of fun and knew everything about the operation. Quinn was perfect for the job. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys ice cream - and Millie's has amazing ice cream. Some of the best I have ever had. We purchased several pints of the ice cream - various flavors. Thanks for a great tour.

Touring Millie's is a great way to spend a hot, almost -summer, Saturday. We got to see the machinery, and yes, there were samples . . . so many samples. We enjoyed learning the backstory of a proprietor who's committed to quality local ingredients, carefully crafted. The traditional flavors were delicious, but the Strawberry-pretzel, and non-dairy Mango were in a class by themselves.

What a fun and informative experience! Quinn, who is the Customer Experience Manager and our Tour Guide graciously and patiently explained the making of Millie's ice cream from start to finish. They were able to inform our group with how the sourcing of ingredients begins to the science behind how it's made to the very end products sent to stores and restaurants. We were able to try samples at different stages of the making from both the ingredients including the local milk they use to the type of chocolate and coffee included in the final flavor. All of which were to the best of their knowledge ethically and sustainably sourced, with no artificial coloring or flavor. A must do experience for anyone who loves shows like "How It's Made" or even anyone who just loves ice cream. The price of the tour admission also includes your pick of a pint of ice cream at the end!

This was such a great tour!!! We learned a lot about how Millie's makes their ice cream and had tons of fun. Quinn did a wonderful job explaining everything, and we got to taste and smell various ingredients and ice creams. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you love Millie's ice cream!

We got to take a tour of the Millie's factory. It was wonderful! Our guide Quinn was engaging and knowledgeable. They even gave us samples to try, and we each took home a pint of ice cream at the end. It was a memorable way to spend the day with family/friends. I recommend eating lunch before you go since the samples are just tiny tastes, not enough to count for a meal. 🙂

Went for a tour of the factory. Quinn was very knowledgeable about the history of the company and the process for how they make their ice cream. We were able to taste many samples of ice cream, ingredients and left deciding it was our favorite ice cream ever! They were getting ready to launch a new flavor, red velvet, which was my son's absolute favorite. I'm under orders to watch for its release and buy it immediately. Delicious and fun activity, and just a stone's throw from the Waterfront, so you can make an afternoon of it.
