Friday nights is the time to visit Choo-Choo Herring and family at the restaurant. He runs some great specials and this visit my wife had the best, well prepared to perfection Ribeye steak ever. It was delicious and generously proportioned. I had the Low Country Shrimp Boil and that was great as well. The wait staff is excellent, doing a exemplary job tending to the many customers. You are missing out not visiting them for dinner.

The staff at Mid State Stockyard are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. They will go out of their way to insure that you get the catlle that you are looking for. As a regional stockyard, cattle from a wide area come to sell. This insures a wide selection of cows, calves, heifers, steers and bulls to choose from. With sale every Wednesday, and if purchasing, you are able to settle the newbies in before the weekend. A win win situation for the cows and the buyers. Head on down to Letohatchee, Alabama home of Mid State Stockyard, LLC. You will be glad you did!
