I’ve eaten at most taquerias around here, and this one stands tall above the rest. The food is incredible and the people are just so kind and friendly. They love seeing people come in and appreciate their culture, and there’s some delicious culture here to enjoy. My tacos were perfect, I mean just the way you imagine real tacos. They offered me cheese but I said no lol. The 2 sauces they brought paired well together, and they were good by themselves too. I tried a pork and a chicken tamale, and surprisingly the chicken one took the crown. So tender. But the greatest joy of my visit was, without a doubt, the BEST horchata that I’ve ever had in my life. It is absolutely asombrosa!

Tacos are a generous portion, but little flavor to the al pastor and asada tacos. It was $12 even for four tacos. It took over 20 minutes to get my food. I almost thought they forgot about me. It was a staleady flow of people though.

The restaurant in the back is the best tacos I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ve been to a couple places abroad and tasted the authentic style that this place has perfected and still can’t believe it’s been right here in Auburn/Opelika this whole time. My new most favorite spot for tacos and Mexican-style food. This place blows other places out of the water. Very authentic and true to the culture. I’ve already been back with more first-timers twice since!

Hidden gem for the best authentic homestyle Mexican food in town!! Expect only locals at this walkup to order Cafe style restaurant. Be advised it wouldn't hurt if you or a friend can speak Spanish when ordering. This is certainly one of our favorites when craving real Mexican cuisine.
