Came back about 25 years later with my husband after years of coming here as a child and it was still as tasty and magical as I remembered. He got the cookie dough and I got the graham slam with a waffle cone and it was delicious. Definitely a place to come to if you're nearby.

Merrymead Farm, in Lansdale, PA, is an absolute gem for families and anyone looking for a classic farm experience. This family-owned dairy farm truly lives up to its slogan, “A Farm for all Generations,” offering something special for everyone who visits.

Let’s talk about the food first—because you can’t go to Merrymead without indulging! Their premium homemade ice cream is an experience in itself. With 32 flavors of hand-dipped icecream to choose from, you’re guaranteed to find something that’ll send your taste buds to new heights. And if you fall in love with it (like we did), you can take a half gallon home to enjoy later. But it doesn’t stop there—the cider donuts are perfectly spiced, the apple cider is refreshing, and the hot dogs and fried treats are top-notch. And don’t miss out on the lemonade tea; it’s the perfect balance of tart and sweet!

Beyond the amazing food, the activities at Merrymead Farm are endless and so much fun. General admission includes access to the hayride, a 5-acre maze, the JumpPad, a Cornstalk Tunnel, a corn bin, and adorable farm animals. The best part? Kids 23 months and younger get in for free! Make sure to bring some quarters to feed the friendly donkeys and sheep; it’s a small, personal touch that makes the experience extra special. For those seeking a bit more adventure, the apple blasting range is a must-try—it’s such a unique and exciting activity!

Merrymead Farm truly captures the magic of fall, with pumpkins, hayrides, and a festive atmosphere that’s perfect for families and friends alike. Whether you’re there for the food, the fun, or just the beautiful farm scenery, this is a place you’ll want to return to year after year. Don’t miss out on making Merrymead Farm your go-to spot for autumn memories!

Upon visiting the farm i witnessed 2 young men who were adding some type of sawdust or bedding to the stalls where the cows were. I wish I had gotten more video of them aggressively throwing directly into the faces of the cows. I feel there was more than enough space that they could have done this more appropriately.Sadly they only stopped when they realized people were watching them. It was a very busy day so I waited and called in to talk to management. I spoke with Donna who seemed less than concerned about it, even declining for me to send the video I have to them. As well only stating she would pass on the mess Message and was not interested in getting my contact info.
I do not recommend this farm as that I have personally witnessed the mistreatment of there cows and the employees lack of concern.

Such an incredible business! The passion and pride that goes into the products at Merrymead Farm is quite evident in the tastes of their products and conversations with the family and staff! We recently visited and were lucky enough to see firsthand how the business operates. The ice cream is AMAZING and the entire property validates a love of local agriculture! Our drive from Maryland’s eastern shore was definitely worth it!

We’ve bought produce here for a couple of years and it has always been good - fresh corn, fruit. Went inside to check out the store and get hubby some ice cream. He said it was good but it was $5 for a little tiny cup! The baked goods looked pretty good, and they also had some beautiful planters outside. Everything here is pretty pricey though, so we passed on buying anything but some peaches. They also need to do better regarding handicapped parking. All but one space was taken over by pallets of product, or barriers making a line for the ice cream window. This is not even legal to do.

Been a while since I've been here but recently visited with a couple friends. Used to go all the time as a kid for the chance to see some farm animals and their unmatched ice cream. Things look a bit different than I remembered but the ice cream was still top notch and super affordable. They have a shop with a number of other great and exclusive products. Still seems to be a really great place to bring the family / kids. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone passing through, looking for a fun or unique experience in the area.
