Purchased a cow from Ridgewood Farms (Joe) and it was processed here. They were very friendly! Made the process super simple and enjoyable! Also they gave us a tour of the facility which was really cool! Will definitely be using Meatworks again!

Over charge and they refuse to acknowledge their mistakes because they know Theyr the only slaughter house around..
They’ll charge you for stuff you didn’t want and then
You either pay so you can bring your animals there to process
Or else you no longer can bring your animals to slaughter

I want to delete my review,
But I more want to share about how great it was to talk to Kieth Wilda about the issues I had ,
I regret now not doing that instead of writing a review, which honestly I don’t , because I am also a buisness owner and I know that not every day goes according to plan.
After speaking with Kieth it became very clear he truly cares about the local farmers and wants to work together so we can have the finest butcher and slaughterhouse to process our animals..
I’m very passionate about raising my animals, and it means a lot to be able to work with others,

After hanging up I really felt like I made a friend, Kieth is awesome!!

I own a small hobby farm, Ridgewood Farms and I needed one of my bulls/steer processed. I brought it to MeatWorks and the whole process was very pleasant and easy, from drop off to picking up the finished product.
Jill and Travis answered all my questions and where very kind , their whole team was very helpful . The my customer who purchased the meat was very pleased the way everything was properly labeled and packaged. I will definitely be going back. Their store front is very nice and clean, the whole place is nicely run. As a farmer I have seen some sketchy places. And the price is fair, that's what others charge also. I was very pleased.

Do not bring your lambs here ! . They do not trim the fat off, thick pieces of fat on all the cuts especially the lamb chops , ribs, the loin roast which had a huge bone in the middle would not feed two people. Then we waited over a month to get the meat back. Not good at returning phone calls . They are very very expensive too.

Absolutely the worst butcher shop on the planet. My friend won a 500 dollar gift card but didn’t know what to get. So I went and placed the order for him. After a month of not returning my calls and the lies they told when I I actually spoke to someone. I gave my friend back his gift card with clear instructions. Burn it. This place sucks.

Horrible customer service. As picking up a pig, we realize the feet and other extras we specifically requested(cut sheet very clearly written, not our first time) are not there. There is nothing done to reimburse or offer another product. Cannot get a call back when leaving multiple messages. Wait times are incredibly long. Travis tried to justify the horrible service. I would advise against using Meatworks which is unfortunate. He recommended "going to a smaller butcher" to receive the feet and ears, tail, skin fat etc back.. odd when the 2 other pigs I sent in with this one and the others I have sent never had an issue. Owning up to mistakes and providing tracibility of meat should be an absolute priority for a place like this. Very dissapointed. We will NOT be going back, nor reccomending Meatworks again. -Mathieu Farms

Jill and Travis are a ton of help at Meatworks. We sure would not be able to do it without them. I highly suggest using Meatworks!
