This is my 12 year old daughter’s 2nd year going to Adventure Camp and she can’t wait to return. She loves the staff, their fun quirky games and all the outings, kayaking and rock climbing are definitely her favorites. The staff do a great job communicating with parents and keeping every day fresh and fun.

My boys were NOT excited about going to a new camp this summer, but they had the best time! Each day was something fun and different, they made tons of new friends who we then spotted around the island, and the staff was awesome- friendly, clear and timely communication around schedule changes. Already planning to come back next year and have recommended MVA to everyone who will listen!

What a great camp! Perfect for my 8 and 10 year old son and daughter -- a nice mixture of kids and ages, different activities every day, engaged and kind counselors. They loved the friends they made and experiences they had, and Steve and the counselors are warm and organized, making it an easy and enjoyable experience for parents and kids alike. A nice low key camp where the kids had a great time and we were able to enjoy afternoons together -- the fact that it's only a half day is very nice. We will definitely be back and recommend this camp to others!

Terrific experience and so well run. Counselors were tops too there camps. Steve is so kind to the kids and they really experience different activities every day. My daughter had a hard time deciding which one was her favorite. The ropes course, biking, kayaking, and games day were an absolute blast. Thank you for running such an organized, fun filled camp with great staff.

I was extremely impressed with the camp. I was unsure what to expect, but considering that my 12 year old daughter absolutely does not like summer camps of any kind, I certainly didn't expect to feel indebted to the Adventure Camp for making her summer great. She really enjoyed the counselors and as a parent I loved hearing her make an offhand comment that they were extremely safety conscious. Another observation she made about the counselors was that it always felt like they really wanted to get to know you.

The activities themselves were fantastic. Everything was an activity you could do, but on steroids and with a group of kids/counselors all having a great time. Kayaking, mountain bike riding through great trails, the ropes course (definitely a favorite), swimming at South Beach and a Camp Olympics day with lots of fun games.

I can't say enough good things about the camp. The camper/counselor ratio was great, the activities were well planned, the kids all seemed to enjoy it and several kids were about to start a second/third week. We will definitely do it again!

My son had a wonderful time - the counselors were all very friendly and I really appreciate that he got to go out and have a fun time outside! He came home every day worn out and happy. I am a very uptight parent when it comes to safety and supervision - I asked a lot of safety questions - and I felt really comfortable with him there!
