We had a great time. The staff was extraordinary with everything. The equipment was excellent, (Do some research and bring some your own tackle). The food was great along with the accommodations. If your looking for The Taj Mahal, look elsewhere, this is a hunting and fishing camp, and a great camp it is. A special shout out the the staff manning the boats, you guys where awesome. Only took a few days to book our next trip to Majestic Eagle Lodge. Tight Lines!

Just finished second year in a row and already booked for 2025! Really nice boats, rods, reels, bait, lodging, fabulous meals, and great support team. Really nice thing, you pull up on the beach and walk away. They clean the boat, clean, fillet, and flash freeze your fish (they take pics if you want as well). Great set up close to the fishing grounds. Intel is provided as to where to go and how to fish; but self guided fishing gives you that freedom to go enjoy the beauty the area gives. Bring and use your own terminal gear, on their poles is a great way to do it. They have the terminal gear and set up ideas/suggestions for you if you want. Highly recommend Majestic Eagle Lodge (appropriately named, as multiple Eagles fly around the trees and camp daily).

We have fished from Majestic Eagle Lodge for four years. First, the staff are wonderful people! Kind and pleasant to be around. They truly want you to have a great time fishing in Alaska. Becky, the resident chef, works VERY hard to have hot, nutritious and tasty meals for both breakfast and dinner. We have not had a bad meal from her kitchen! She serves with a gracious spirit and a sweet smile.

Majestic Eagle is centrally located in Wrangell Narrows giving you equal access to both Summer Strait and Frederick Sound providing endless possibilities for the perfect fishing spot. Your potential for barn-door size halibut is high. They provide quality fishing rods and tackle-no chance that second rate equipment will limit your harvest.

Brandon, the owner, is thorough with communication throughout the registration process, answering questions quickly. While at the lodge, he is an attentive host.

We look forward to returning to Majestic Eagle Lodge for more great Alaskan adventures.

Majestic Eagle has always been a great place to spend a week fishing in SE Alaska. Its founder Wendy did a great job starting up this self-guided lodge and now the new owner Brandon and his crew have taken it to new heights while still being very fair on price. Top notch gear, boats, service, and meals are to be had. It still has the feel of a lodge that is perfect for the experienced outdoorsman that wants their needs fully met without being an over-the-top pretentious lodge. Great place to spend a week just fishing and filling your freezer. It will become a place you will look forward to visiting often. I highly recommend spending time at Majestic Eagle.

Just returned from third time at Magestic Eagle. The improvements made by new owner, Brandon, are numerous. New features at the lodge, new tackle, lot of help providing excellent service from the time we arrived in the airport until we departed. Lots of help available for launching and when returning with the boat. Good meals and take out breakfast on the water was a big hit with my group. Halibut fishing was great. Very pleased with fish processing and packaging, with fish being in great condition on return home. All in my group want to return again next year.

Fourth time to this Lodge. The new owner Brandon and his staff took excellent care of us. Amazing meals, nice accommodations, excellent equipment and first class service to and from the airport. We arrived home with 4 boxes of nicely packaged Halibut frozen hard. Love this lodge and can’t wait to return. This was our third trip to Majestic Eagle Lodge in four years. Wendy and the team treat us like family and we have always enjoyed every moment. Wonderful private cabin, great food and a staff that takes care of everything. Boats, equipment and even tackle are top notch.

Great fish camp for those that want to share this experience with a Son or Grandson. My Boy was only 13 on our first trip. He’s landed a 163lb Halibut and always seems to find a way to out fish his Dad.

Plan to be back for our fourth trip.
