What a gem! This delightful family run, 2 acre farm on the Salem/Swampscott border is wonderful!

There's annuals, perennials, herbs, organic soil, mulch and compost. There's also a large assortment of Holly's pickled veggies and fresh eggs. And there's ducks too!

They are only open until early July, so support this local business while you can. You won't be sorry!

So first off this place is almost 3 hours away from me and honestly it is worth the drive everytime. I first came across this brand at the pickle festival in Boston and have been obsessed ever since. I probably make 3-4 orders every year and they are always amazing! The Hollys spicy pickle spears are my favors but the carrots are also so good too! Also a huge fan of the pickled celery, Jett’s milds, and dilly beans. If you’re a pickle person this has to be on your list

I heard about Maitland Mountain Farm on Chronicle the other night, and my ears perked up when it was mentioned they make a multitude of various pickled products and flavors. The items were thoughtfully packaged, so there wouldn't be any breakage, and I received them only a few days after ordering. As I unpacked all my items, I couldn't resist tasting some as I did so. These items are absolutely delicious, and I will be back to order more items once I have room in my refrigerator. I highly recommend trying their products; you won't be disappointed. If I could give six stars, I would!

Small but excellent collection of flowers and small shrubs. Unusual varieties of perennials. Several Iris varieties. Use a map to find it...but it is worth a visit if you are a garden junkie. Visits in Spring are especially delightful.

Great pickles and the best giardiniera salad I have ever had. Glad to hear they are open and made year round.
