We hosted my daughter’s 3rd birthday here and we couldn’t have been happier. The venue was perfect and the staff were beyond helpful, even with event set-up!

We’ve also been countless times for their October pumpkin fest and we love it!

We did the sunset horseback riding tour and it was absolutely breathtaking! The ranch and the views were beautiful! Our tour guide, Kyle, was very knowledgeable and had funny stories along the way. All of the workers there seem passionate about what they do and it was awesome to witness! We can't wait to come back!

Very crowded when we went on Sunday afternoon. Pumpkin's were pretty well picked over. A lot had soft bottoms. My granddaughter had fun but she is only 3. Lots of children were not properly supervised by a parent. The staff at the horses were the best. So nice. The petting zoo lacked a lot. The animals didn't want to eat the food they were selling.

Came with my daughters and the staff was beyond patient with my tantrum throwing toddler and gave a refund for the pony ride even though they let me attempt again and swap kids. So many cute photo opportunities and places to cool off at! Sooo many activities for the kids that really made it worth the drive over. Thank you so much for the amazing experience on the farm?

Had some of the best experiences of my life at MacDonald’s Ranch. It was my families last day in Arizona and we wanted to do something special. We heard about this place either on the radio or in a newspaper I think and decided to make the drive down. We got there and were absolutely enthralled by everything. The atmosphere, the animals, and every single detail about the place was beautiful. The play pen with the goats was one of the best things I’ve ever participated in. The goats and kids are hand picked for their friendliness and you can tell the moment you step foot in the enclosure. They’ll rub up on you, demand pets and just provide love and affection. And best of all it was absolutely free! We kind of got distracted playing with the goats and ended up missing the last group horse riding session. But thankfully the owner of the ranch went above and beyond and set us up with our own noble steed Azul for an impromptu lesson. I forgot our instructors name (Blonde woman, jeans, tan hat and red shirt) but she was the absolute sweetest, kindest and down to earth person. You could tell she cared about the animals and enjoyed her job! We wrapped up our adventure with huge smiles and maybe a little bit of goat smell clinging to our clothes, but it was totally worth it! As we drove away, we couldn’t stop talking about how this unexpected detour became the highlight of our trip. Arizona gave us beautiful memories, and MacDonald’s Ranch made sure we left with hearts full of joy and a bit of hay in our pockets. We’ll definitely be back for more!

We take the grandkids here every year for the pumpkin patch and Halloween fun! Everyone is always so friendly and there is so much to do! The petting zoo is fun and my grandkids love the train ride. And of course, picking out a pumpkin is always a treat!

My daughter and I visited Scottsdale from Houston, TX. My daughter was so excited for the horseback riding and MacDonald did not disappoint. Not only was it my first time on a horse ever in life, but my daughter who rode horses briefly around 3-4 years old was a newbie too. The guides were so accommodating and patient, mainly with me who was more concerned about my daughter’s being safe than anything else. Kyle was our tour guide and we chatted the entire ride, he was the best. I learned a lot about horses and other things during our talk. Annabelle (I may have gotten her name wrong) was great too. My daughter has been talking about her horse Casper daily since the ride and has now become interested in taking horseback riding lessons. My horse Wilma was a gentle giant who I’m convinced knew I was nervous and she took care of me. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad we shared it as mother and daughter. We would have come back for another ride but they are closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Thank you to the entire team for making this memorable for us. I know my daughter will remember this forever.

This was our second visit to MacDonald's Ranch for the sunset ride. It was amazing and we had a great time! Everyone from the office staff, horse handlers to our guides were absolutely wonderful! Andrew, one of our guides stayed with us since we were in the back of the line and he was so super friendly. He even took pictures of us with our phones so we could have those memories while riding. I would definitely recommend the sunset ride, the views of the sun going down on the desert as you are riding is priceless. We will definitely be back!
