What a hidden gem! We were driving through on a road trip and we are so glad we stopped. Excellent food, and we appreciate that they use organic/pasture raised ingredients from their farm. The setting outdoors is beautiful, too. If we lived in Iowa we would be regulars!

We are staying in a nearby campground which has an advertisement for this place on the back of its campground map. We decided to give it a try. The food was delicious! It is family owned and the mother does all of the cooking. They have a set menu. This is a seasonal restaurant open from Mother's Day until the fall. As the season progresses and the vegetables from their garden ripen, they add them to the set menu. We ate a vegetarian version of their menu; no chicken, more of everything else.

If you want a unique, Iowan food experience, then this place is it. The farm is a perfect example of when hard work & sustainability can come together to create something truly special. A passionate mother-son duo run the operation, cooking up delish farm-fresh dishes that are all served on a single plate. It gives you the chance to savor a variety of flavors at an unbeatable price & you’ll leave satisfied and full! Take a stroll around the garden while you wait for your food and enjoy the wandering sheep, chickens, ducks, etc. And as another reviewer said, don’t skip the cheesecake - it’s an absolute treat! We’ve already returned, but we’ll continue to support this wonderful business time and time again 🙂

A lovely, homey and satisfying meal. This is the antithesis to all the fast food places along I-80. We can't recommend it enough because of the wholesome ingredients and simplicity of the experience. It doesn't appear the menu changes (or at least not significantly, based on reviews and their photos). But maybe it doesn't need to- the plate we had was exemplary in what America could offer through the hands of the diverse workers in our beautiful farmland.

LT Organic Farm served the food correctly. It was like an Indian buffet but you only got a spoon full of everything. You were able to enjoy the different texture and flavor of each dish on the menu. Things like chickpea were delicious, but I would never order a full plate of it in a traditional restaurant.
Service and farm environment were amazing on this sunny day. The restaurant inside was clean, and outdoor dining tables were spread apart to take advantage of the large farm.
It was difficult to get every detail right, but LT did just that. $17.95 seemed high for just one plate, but you could argue that it kept the place less crowded and allowed every customer to enjoy the peaceful farm environment.

Friendly, family run business with a cute little shop. They have goats and chickens to see. Excellent service, I didn't have time to try the food today but I'll be back. The lemon herb drink was delicious!

My brother may have accidentally sprinted into the fence right before dinner, but revisiting this place after 15 years was such a treat! Neil chatted with us for about 20 minutes. He went over the farms history, his family’s reasons for starting the farm and other things. The food was amazing, so good I didn’t even get a picture. Can’t wait to come back next time we visit Iowa!

This is a special place. It was the finale to a week long road trip that included lots of dining and I must say, it was one of my favorites. The concept is great: fixed menu item with balanced, healthy and flavorful homecooked meals. They had 1 dish on the menu with a main (chicken), multiple sides (rice, chickpeas, squash, dumplings and veggies). I felt like someone's gramma just made me lunch!

Service style was similar to a casual dining/quick serve setting. Put in your order, grab a seat, they bring out your food, make sure you're doing great, then check up on you and bring you your check when you're done. Very casual and friendly.

Long, community style tables for dining inside or picnic tables outside. Also a small gift shop with local goods from artists and craftsmen.

Basically a restaurant quality but healthy, organic, homecooked meal, that you don't have to make yourself or clean up after. It's the sort of food where you could eat here every day and your doctor would love you for it. The world needs more of these!
