The owner is a super honest guy. He went above and beyond to help and answer any questions I had. It was my first time purchasing a half a cow he unfortunately didn’t have a half only 1/4 but he made the half happen. Everything is packaged beautifully and labeled. Now there is a few things one needs to know when purchasing. When purchasing in such manner one has to understand that all cows weigh differently so you can’t get an exact price till the cow is weighed and butchered, and understand you are paying for two services one of for the farmers cow, and the other is for the butcher. So instead of asking how much per pound for the cow ask for what is the total price per pound for the cow and butcher together. Additionally, you can’t have an exact price till all services are rendered so he can only give you an estimate. Which makes sense for again cows come in different weights and the prices are exceptional. I will be sending him as many people as I can. Please if you don’t understand something ask the owner is more than happy to answer.

Been Buying beef from Shawn at Locust Lane for a couple years now. Absolutely no complaints to speak of - always prompt, reasonably priced, and best of all - 100% grass fed Angus beef. What's not to like!

I was told that my beef weighed 218lb, leaving me with the impression that was what I would be getting, in reality only got 130lb that cost me 2300.00.so I paid 10.00 a lb not 6
