Teppan Steak House on Steroids. No, seriously, if you've been to one Teppan style grill, you've not been to them all. This place isn't the chain with flashing knives and choreography, those places are like college productions whereas LEVEL8 is All Pro, an MVP of the Teppan style, yes with flashing knives but less for the sake of humoring the child at heart and more because maneuvering the amount of food presented to as many as 8 different diners seems requiring of some pomp and circumstance, and panache. Flames and food are always a wonderful performance that adds to the overall quality. DineLA brought me here the first time but it won't be the last. Never had I ever thought a burger could be accomplished with such pizzaz let alone exquisite flavor. Fun Time if a bit noisy between the spectating and cookery happening at a handful of tables. This too lends to a slightly off balanced service, the many diners and close grouping of hot table and chef making difficult the job of ensuring a constant supply of cold drinks. But oh my are those drinks gorgeous to gorge on. 9/10, highly recommend!

I recently took my friends to Level 8 Rooftop, and it was a fantastic experience! As someone who just relocated to the area, I wanted to show my friends a great spot, and Level 8 did not disappoint.

The views from the rooftop are absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking backdrop of the Los Angeles skyline. It's the perfect setting for an evening out, whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a special occasion. The ambiance is vibrant yet relaxed, making it a great place to unwind and soak in the sights.

We only had cocktails during our visit, and while the drink menu offered a nice selection, I must say the lemon drop was a bit too sweet for my taste. However, the overall cocktail experience was enjoyable, and the presentation was on point.

The service was attentive and friendly, which is always a plus. The staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout our time there, offering recommendations and checking in on us without being overbearing.

Overall, Level 8 Rooftop is a must-visit spot in Los Angeles. I’m so glad I introduced my friends to this gem, and I look forward to returning to enjoy more of what it has to offer!

Level 8 is an amazing concept with something for everyone or, in my case, everything for someone! I had the best luck to not only discover Level 8 when I was planning a milestone birthday party and couldn't find anywhere else with enough of a wow factor, but also in getting the most amazing partner in planning from the Events Manager Chrissy!

I immediately knew this location was perfect to hold a whole evening of events, getting to experience completely different locations, foods, drinks, and entertainment, without having to go more than a couple of feet into the next room. Golden Hour is a must for pre-drinks and all your photos at sunset (obviously!), Maison Kasai has the best food and private dining, Mr. Wanderlust was perfect for post-dinner drinks with a bit of aerial, burlesque & live music, and Sinners Y Santos was an awesome club to close out the night. I loved every location, felt like I got my money's worth with non-stop entertainment, and would highly recommend not only each venue by itself, but scheduling the same kind of multi-stop evening that Chrissy helped me create for a special event.

Chrissy assisted every step of the way, answering my many questions, arranging bookings, plan adjustments, special requests such as a vegan option, monitoring the budget, and was on-hand the evening of to make sure everything went smoothly. My biggest praise to her, however, is that a couple external issues popped up that couldn't have been prevented and were no fault of Level 8, but how she proactively shared updates, made adjustments, and provided additional value to make up for the changes, was above and beyond - I felt like I ended up with an even better evening than we had planned because of how well she managed everything.

Thank you so much Chrissy for all that you did and to the whole team at Level 8 for such a great concept and incredible service - I can't wait to visit again soon! Cheers!

Numerous restaraunts in one area, each with their own theme. Ours was great unfortunately some of my friends got seated at less awesome options. The food and drinks were both very good and everybody left stuff. My only issue was the bar within the restaurant was great, but they wanted to rush us out so they could seat new people.

This place should be called LEVEL 2 because that's the highest rating it's getting from me right now. Apparently, there's a dress code to go upstairs? I walked in earlier and there was no issue! All I wanted was to grab tacos at the Moxy's food truck on this level and people gave me a hard time. It's ridiculous to shame customers!

I literally saw some people going upstairs with hardly anything on and heading to the bar like that. Meanwhile I have a button-up shirt on and people are giving me looks, so stupid. It's a shame that people don't know how to dress anymore. This is a vacation hotel, and it felt like a prison at points.

Level 8 also has poor signage and a confusing set-up, all the restaurants on the level are mashed together and you'll never guess where one ends and another begins. Also, I came right at opening and NO one was ready. All the restaurants were unattended and I was forced to wait another hour. Level 8 does not stick to its scheduled business hours.

The only reason I'm not going to totally hate on this place is because of the tacos I had at the food truck. They tasted great, but weren't worth the battle. I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone.

This place was an awesome experience. We dined at Maison Kasai. From the elevator to the secret door was a lot to experience. Once behind the hidden door, there is a bar. You just had to be there. Another secret door connected us to the restaurant. We had great service and entertainment by a magician. I chose the 4 course meal. Collette steak and all the fixings that came with it. Our chef overcooked my steak just a little. The caviar appetizer was different (1st time having caviar). The drinks were awesome. Our servers were very good. After dinner, we tried two of the clubs. It was so much fun. There was a wrestling match over the bar. So cool. The music was ok. The drinks were ON. Overall, things were well thought out when creating this place. I love it and will go back should I visit LA in the near future.

Entrees were good but side dishes were horrible. Side dishes were overcomplicates. Drinks were good but they were more ice than drink. We went on a thursday night so it wasn't too busy. Beautifully decorated restaurants

Had a great time celebrating my son's 25th Birthday.
I was a little concerned with some of the revires that were posted, but I have to say that not all was true.
Drinks were really good, the food was excellent.
Even the caviar we ordered was on point!
The entertainment was lit, and the late night band was good too..
We had a great experience!
