The prettiest and best cakes. They did my wedding cake and it was a huge hit. Don’t sleep on this cake shop or any of their cupcakes!

Lark went out of their way to make sure my cake would be ready and delivered as ordered, same day. The person I spoke to over the phone was super nice and helpful. My party loved the chocolate mousse cake. Will order from here again.

Man, I must have caught them on a bad day.

Our cake looked old and was an unappetizing shade of yellow white and when I mentioned my concerns to the girl at the counter she couldn’t be bothered. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I thought OK, another bored service employee, it was a pretty grim atmosphere in there.
But the cake ended up being AWFUL! OLD, DRY CAKE, and the FROSTING TASTED SOUR. It tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for two weeks.
It was such an embarrassing gift. Someone else brought cupcakes from Vons and they tasted BETTER!
Lark used to be good, but I’m never going back there again.

Lark Cake Shop made the most delicious wedding cake for us - the only bakery I could find that made wedding cakes without buttercream. Their Berry Shortcake is literally the perfect cake.

I will say that coordinating a wedding cake with them was quite disorganized - many emails got sent, and I nearly ended up with a cake very different from the one I thought I was ordering - if you want a tiered wedding cake, they have to replace the whipped cream and pastry cream in the berry shortcake with buttercream (for structural reasons) - which is totally reasonable, but not made clear at any point in the discussions about the cake.

However, the cake that arrived made up for all the confusion - one of the best wedding cakes I've ever had by far. I look forward to buying smaller versions of it for years to come.

Absolutely delicious and well decorated! I got a mocha chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday. We all loved it and I really liked the color they used for the writing. It was very easy to place an order. Came out better than expected with a great price.

Ordered a flourless birthday cake and it was ready in less than 24 hours. The birthday girl loved it! It looked great and tasted better: very chocolatey and not too sweet. I also appreciate that the writing didn’t add an extra cost and was accurate even if in a different language.
I usually don’t like cupcakes but I wanted to try one theirs and now I can understand the appeal, the base was moist and tasty and the topping creamy and delicious. You can feel they use good ingredients.
Will definitely come back for the next birthday!
Parking in the area can be a bit challenging.

Lark Cake Shop designed and prepared my wedding cake, and they absolutely crushed it! John was so helpful from the first call - he listened attentively to our vision and was very willing to help us work within the confines of our budget. The chocolate flavor was absolutely delicious, and after the wedding we received so many compliments on both the taste and aesthetic of our cake! John was also extremely professional, responsive and so positive and upbeat throughout the process. He was beyond on top of it and was an absolute delight to work with. Cannot recommend Lark Cake Shop highly enough!
