We went on this guided tour on August. It was very informative. Our guide had very good knowledge of these animals. She explained very well about their differences and their relationships and also their food habits. The guide also explained how these animals cope up with the weather. They also have the animal's skull, skin etc to touch and feel. The skulls are very heavy to lift. I highly recommend this tour which helps kids and adults to gain knowledge on these animals.

Amazing animals and a great tour guide. So much information on the Musk Ox and their development and the Reindeer and Caribou and their differences as well as relationship and the differences between plains and wood buffalo. The babies were soooo cute?

Went on a tour with my 1 year old son! It was very reasonably priced as well as super fun and the guys was very knowledgeable. It was 11$ for me and my little guy was free and lasted about an hour and a half. We got to see Musk Ox Males and Female and also their babies. We also got to see reindeer and their babies. It was a great experience that I really am glad we did. The trail was easy and we were able to take our stroller on it.

This was a great group experience. Our guide knew SO much about reindeer and musk ox. We really thought it was an excellent side excursion in Fairbanks. We didn’t need a reservation, just show up at a tour time. Very laid back.

The tour was very informative! We learned a lot and enjoyed seeing the animals. This isn't a petting zoo and rightfully so. These animals are in a place to thrive. It is a great cause! The muskox skull was much more heavy than I imagined. Also to see their nasal conchae and the their other adaptations is super interesting.

Such a cool place to visit! The kids love it and her talking about the muskox and bison.. Riding our bicycles here, we got a little lost, and the hills are daunting.

That said, this place is cute and the tour would've been nice, but we got there too late.

Go on a cold or rainy day in the summer...reason being is muskox don't like the heat. So if you go on a nice sunny day, they will be hiding in the trees.
Andrew was our tour guide and had amazing info. The tour I'd guess was about an hour long with short walks (on rocky path which is doable for any age) from one fenced area to another. Super good knowledge.
Highly recommend the tour.
