I had the pleasure of attending the Lansdowne Festival this past Saturday. There were a few food trucks, vendors, live music and the shops were opening for business from 6-10 PM.

I purchased a bottle of Unk Tik's Hot BBQ sauce, a bottle of Valpolicella from Mitchell & Mitchell Wines and a Patti Labelle album from Vinyl Records.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience this local street event.

It's Nice to help the Community and to see the local farmers. I say we need more veggies such as Collards, Turnips, Kale and Mustard Greens. Just more veggies!

I love how friendly and attention the vendors are. You can grab some amazing finds from homemade desserts to fresh produce to butcher meets. Along with local breweries and a wonderful crowd. If you need to get out of the house and want to socialize I highly recommend checking the Lansdowne Market out!

Always welcoming. Hand sanitizer offered at entrance. Open air, folks practicing social distancing, yet congenial. This one particular vendor, that I patronize, is so helpful. Produce is locally grown, no pesticides. Friendly atmosphere, very enjoyable.

It's wonderful to have a nice little farmers market in our little borough. Not real big will only take you 15 or 20 minutes to go through, but a nice sampling of local vegetables, food, adult beverages, and wares.

We're coming up on the end of the market's weekly run. Come November, it shifts to once monthly until memorial day. And there's always good stuff to find here. You have to remember, though: it's a farmers' market. If you want out of season produce, go elsewhere. Breads, soups, dumplings, lots of apples and ciders and....Bourbon!

A wonderful place to buy fresh produce, baked goods, prepared food. There are also vendors selling soaps, handmade items, wine. There's a craft person of the week and musicians of the week. There are tables and chairs so you can relax and listen to the music or munch on some goodies you just bought
