Took delivery of our 2018 Lance travel trailer model 1985 about a month ago, one of the first off the assembly line, and on our maiden trip now. OMG!!! Got all the extras because we plan to have this camper for the next 30 years (empty nesters). We couldn't be more pleased.

We've had other campers that don't even compare to the quality of our Lance. It shows in so many ways, from the materials selected to how well they fit together to the fasteners used.

I highly recommend getting the solar. We haven't had to generate yet this trip.

As far as getting answers from the factory I don't know if it will happen. I owned 2 REV product which is also known as Fleetwood. They now own Lance RV and you will find the factory doesn't work well with the consumers on the junk products they are slamming together. I would never buy another REV Product again.

Almost zero customer service.

First time I contacted service, it was about a cover and gave me a recommendation on who use to do theirs. Yay!

Second time I contacted service, I was still waiting on missing parts for my window blinds from the dealer I bought the trailer from. Two corner bracket covers and clip that combines the dark screen with blinds. The dealer had closed their doors. Lance had zero response (crickets).

Third time I contacted Lance was the warranty was about to expire, still trying to get the middle clips. The closed dealer property was bought by another dealer many months later. The new dealer did get me the corner pieces but the middle is missing still. Contacted Lance and still got crickets from them.

Fourth time I tried was to inquire about the door locking latch. I wanted to see if there was a key-less entry available out there. No response from Lance.

Save your money, look at Grand Design, I hear their have better customer service, not the greatest but it's something.

I own a 2020 model 2285 Lance travel trailer. The trailer was damaged when our local Lance dealer installed a part that, according to the Lance factory, damaged the welds on the side of the trailer. When the dealer couldn't fix its mistake, I brought the trailer to the Lance factory in Lancaster, CA. Diana Ayala couldn't have been more helpful. The folks at Lance fixed the trailer, repaired several other components that needed attention, and even re-sealed the exterior, all at no charge to me. If it wasn't for the long bouts of "radio silence" while I was trying to make an appointment and while I was waiting for the repair to be finished, I would have given them 5 stars.

Lance customer service gets bad reviews. I agree that our local dealer is terrible, but I can't say enough good things about Diana Ayala and her colleagues at Lance in Lancaster.

Before I could call the number provided my local dealer called me and I was able to order the parts I needed. Too bad it took me this much effort for a few hinges and hubcaps but in the end I am happy to have finally gotten them! Thanks Lance for getting with the dealer.

Bought a brand new Lance in 2021 and was told by my dealer I can't buy parts in 2023 for it due to it's age No way to contact Lance directly, even comments left on their web page go back to your dealer.

I purchased a Lance because of it's reputation for quality and customer service. I leave this review as a warning for others, Lance is no longer what it once was. My advice is find a company you can order parts directly from and buy an RV from them.

Can't get a hold of customer service. I've called and called. I was able to leave a message once, with no return call. Now, no ability to leave a message. We're desperately trying to get a 2nd set of keys for our Lance trailer. Dealer said they only had one when we purchased, and that we had to contact the company for 2nd set. Online forums say you can order through Amazon and other sites. We've tried, but they only offer the accessory lock keys and not the actual door key. We've tried 2 local locksmiths and 3 home improvement stores; all saying they can't reproduce our door key. If we loose this key, we're screwed. Customer service doesn't appear to be an aspect of this manufacturer.

Customer service and parts availability is pathetic. Makes me want to get rid of my Lance.

I’ve never met a company that goes further out of its way to make it difficult for its customers. 1000% effort put into the initial sale and -900% put into keeping customers happy with their purchase.

I need a stupid snap-on part and have spent weeks with multiple dealers, many of which ignored my requests most likely because they knew Lance would ignore it. I finally found a dealer to approach Lance for the part number, after having to offer to pay the minimum shop labor fee to spend 2 minutes snapping on a cover. The dealer CC’d me on the part number and price request and Lance ignore it entirely.

Whole experience has shown that Lance treats its customers like dirt after the initial sale. I’ll be upgrading soon because of this.

Bought my Lance 2445 in August 2020- reported warranty claim with my slide out one year later, used Lance's ONLY authorized dealer within 400 miles of home, they had my camper from October 2021 until February of 2022 to make the needed repairs, and here I sit writing a 1 star review because the same slide out issue has stranded me again one year later. Lance says they won't cover the repairs again, it's my problem now!! How does this make any sense? Mike Williams- anyone...please help.
