So good! I’m so happy that you regularly have your food truck in Madera now because before I used to have to drive to Fresno for food every day. I usually can’t stand the food in Madera. It’s all of the same except Lady G’s. Everything on the menu is good. Today they had bbq and it was bomb. I’m a repeat customer and I will be back later this week.

This place has amazing food! Family owned and operated. I cannot get over how hospitable they were. I can't remember the last time I had a good fried okra. I grew up in the south so I've been fortunate to experience good soul food. I was finally able to share that experience with my kids and they kept saying this was the best food they ever had! We can hardly wait until the next time we go there. And secretly my fingers are crossed that a good jambalaya is possible.

I’ve been here several times and the food is delicious! However my last visit I felt like my portion of food was very skimpy. I paid $17 for the po boy meal and received one piece of fish and about 7 fries!

Updated review today:

I like this restaurant, I do. Today for lunch (tried calling), I had the snack pack with fish. The menu says two pieces of fish. My order came, there was one piece of small Tilapia split in half. Maybe this was an oversight or a mistake. I am noticing that the portions are overall smaller than in times past, but sometimes that has to do with menu changes for example the style of fries changed over time. I don't know. I do know that I was looking forward to two pieces of fish as the menu stated vs two halves.

Really trying hard to understand why the whole local community isn't here at Lady G's. We were looking for good food with a touch of soul and stumbled upon Lady G's. Being from the South and the East, where food is known to be packed with flavor, this place did not disappoint. Check out the menu, then head on over. Great customer service. Update: Be sure to try the peach/apple cobbler!

First time trying Lady G’s, it was saucy Wednesday and the chicken wings with the sweet chili sauce were amazing. We had the catfish and the riblets which were hot and delicious…I had the peach lemonade and my husband had the blueberry lemonade and both were fantastic. The atmosphere was on point and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Went with my boyfriend the service was great and the food was amazing . Riblets are a must try. The coleslaw was the best i have ever tried in my entire life I thought i was not a fan but after tasting theirs it was the best

Honestly super disappointed. We drove out from Fresno & before coming out here, we called several times (phone is disconnected) and triple checked their hours (on google, yelp, and facebook). We got there at 12pm (on a Sunday) and they were closed! The hours indicated they’d be open from 11:30am-6pm. HUGE let-down.
We’ve tried the food before and it was yummy, but with unreliable business hours, I wouldn’t risk wasting my gas to have it again.

I have been there twice and the food is good. I would eat there and take meals to go as well. The owners are nice ladies, and the food is fresh and hot.
