This cute, upcoming lavender farm is located only a few minutes from the highway, yet rural enough that it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery. Frost tipped mountains in the far distance, while nearby is a pristine and quiet countryside landscape.

The farm itself is a one man operation. The owner, Inty, is as passionate as one can be about everything lavender… And I do mean EVERYTHING. Ask him any question and he’ll give the most detailed answer possible. But what I enjoy is how his scientific knowledge is based upon true admiration for the plants and the benefits they provide to people’s lives.

I’m excited to see where he takes the farm—apparently he’s hoping to eventually build some sort of coffee/tea stand. With the view, I can’t imagine a better way to spend a weekend afternoon.
