I give up on this store. Lived in Castle Rock 20 years and can honestly say, since this store opened, they just can't seem to get it together. Every time I go, they are either out of this or out of that. It's never consistent. Crowds like you wouldn't beleive. Don't go during any peak hours. Must go first thing in AM to have chance of getting things after night stockers have replenished. Going to other grocery stores in the area now. Store supports too many people from too many areas, and it shows. Out of stock issues are common. Terrible store item organization system which they are still refining after years since opening, and it's still not accurate. Avoid deli at all costs during peak hours.

The King Soopers on Promenade Parkway in Castle Rock is not one of the better ones. From experience first hand, they have security challenges and have had their fair share of employees that are down right nasty, mean, rude, disrespectful, insulting... When it comes to customers checking out their own groceries, at this location you better make sure you don't mess up, otherwise expect to get your butt chewed out in public. And if you think your safe, this store gets a decent amount of pick pocketers. Worth driving to a different one.

It’s a typical Soopers grocery story (and then some). Tends to be busy most of the time. It has a decent seafood and meat market. Great bakery!

Honestly, this is my go to grocery store even with 3/5 stars - we love getting our produce here. Our favorite orange juice is always out of stock it seems and the variety or shelve foods is limited to big brands only for the most part which are full of additives that are not healthy.

I live in Parker but have to travel to Castle Rock once or twice a week to take my kiddo to a class. In the time I’ve been shopping at this store, I’ve placed 4 pick up orders. Only one of them has been prepared on time. I’m literally in town for 1to 2 hours, and will not drive 40 minutes out of my way to pick up a grocery order 2 or 3 hours later. I always place my order early the day before, so I don’t know how they decide who to cancel, but it’s so frustrating. Why have so many slots available if you are incapable of shopping them?

I like this store in general and am not going to quit shopping here yet, but please figure this out. I know it’s a busy location, and so do you. Do what you need to do to work it out.

Ignore my below review, my wife was inappropriately touched by an employee at this Store. In this day and age this is plain disgusting. I don’t care what their staffing issues are, how dare you hire employees that can do this.

This location is 100x better than the old one. They have literally everything at this new location; groceries, cloths, housewares, pharmacy and more. There is a Starbucks and a US Bank inside. They have an A+ Sushi bar and custom sandwich service at the deli. In my opinion, best grocery store in the Castle Rock area.

Some of the employees are rude. The self checkout is always a nightmare. Also, the QR codes we scan to get the discount are so small that I've missed them a few times. Other than that it's a good store.

Went in for some groceries. First time at this store location. On entry the kid putting carts away seemed upset that I needed a grocery cart and he begrudgingly pushed one towards me like I just ruined his day. While walking around, most isles were blocked by oblivious employees stocking shelves. I'm not upset they were busy. Just annoyed they were so oblivious.
I noticed a sale price on Pepsi products so loaded up 4x 12 packs of Pepsi products and scanned the coupon. We have a single family account we use for Kroger rewards so we can add up our points collectively. I went to pay and because I didn't scan the coupon onto the app under the account. My wife is working so I couldn't get the login credentials therefore coulded get the $5 off per 12 pack of Pepsi products for the "digital deal". After doing the cashiers job for them by being forced to use a self checkout, which I hate doing. The cashier made some remark about bagging before loading too much. I informed him that I skipped training. He begrudgingly removed some items so I could resume scanning.

A manager came by to scan his card to override the deletion on the items. I started to voice my concern but he shrugged and practically ran off to avoid hearing my complaint. I didn't catch his name but the cahier told me his name was Danny. Danny can go eat a d...!

At the end I was not really helped at all. I told them to remove the Pepsi products because apparently they can't just give me the deal without starting a new account that then would take away our rewards. I was at least able to use the number on our account to get those. Minus the other items I came for... Now I'm going to Walmart to flash the coupon and get a price match for the Pepsi products so I can save $20 rather than waste it here.

Next time I'll start at Walmart and if they don't have what I need I may return but only as a last resort. I'd give zero stars but they require we give at least 1 star.
