Kindred Oak Farm is pure paradise. Going here is like going home. Lisa and Rob are the nicest most thoughtful hosts. Every single detail of this place is done with purpose and care. Lisa went above and beyond with special add-ons for our birthday trip and making us feel welcome. Chef Dominque is a master of her craft. The breakfast each morning was heaven. The grounds and accommodations are stunning. We had such a magical time here. I seriously want to move in year-round. Paso Robles is such a beautiful town. Everyone was so nice. Lisa & Rob, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a wonderful trip. We very much look forward to staying with and seeing you again in the future!

INCREDIBLE experience. My expectations were high based on all the awesome reviews and I can safely say, everything exceeded my expectations. Lisa and Rob are such kind, genuine and attentive hosts. As cliche as it is, they really make you feel like you're part of the family and part of their home.

The Oaks room was amazing with an awesome deck overlooking the beautiful property, perfect for sitting and enjoying the delicious coffee provided in-room.

The rest of the property was equally impressive. Lisa and Rob gave us tours where we met the cows, goats, chickens and of course the sweet property dogs. We got to explore the various gardens picking our own flowers, herbs and vegetables.

Breakfast is provided by a featured chef and we were lucky to have chef Dom. Her breakfast was outstanding. We also opted to set up a private dinner with chef Dominique as well, and it blew us away.

My only complaint is that we only had two days there. We would have loved another day or two to enjoy and explore the serene property itself.

Lisa and Rob, keep doing what you're doing. We will definitely be returning.

A ‘Peachy’ Slice of Paradise in Paso Robles

From the moment we began searching for the perfect weekend getaway in Paso Robles, we knew we wanted something truly special. As parents, finding time for a peaceful escape is rare, and thanks to my generous parents offering to watch the kids, we were determined to make the most of it. After scouring countless hotel listings, we stumbled upon Kindred Oak Farm, and it turned out to be everything we hoped for and more.

Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Paso Robles, Kindred Oak Farm offers the perfect blend of peace, quiet, and nature, with the added bonus of being conveniently close to town and the nearby wineries. The owners, Lisa and Rob Peach, have created a haven of hospitality that feels like a home away from home.

We stayed in one of the newer rooms, The Oaks, located on the top floor just outside the living room and dining area. Despite its central location, the room was blissfully quiet and serene. The room itself was a masterpiece of thoughtful design, exuding style and warmth. From the artisanal local bath soaps and high-end fixtures to the welcoming bottle of Barton wine, every detail was perfect. The spacious balcony offered a stunning view, and the bed was so heavenly that getting up in the morning felt like a challenge—until we remembered the promise of Chef Candice’s multi-course gourmet breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast—wow! If you consider yourself a coffee snob, you’ll be in heaven here. Lisa’s French press, made with freshly ground local coffee beans, set the tone for an extraordinary start to the day. The breakfast spread included two exotic fresh juices and a Spanish tortilla that rivaled anything we’ve had in Spain. I wish I could go on, but just thinking about it brings me back to a state of food euphoria.

One of the main reasons we love staying at B&Bs is the communal atmosphere, and Kindred Oak Farm excelled in this area. Lisa and Rob have fostered a place of openness and inclusivity, where guests are encouraged to connect and learn about the land. Rob’s morning tour of the property, including a visit to their resident Longhorns, was an unforgettable experience. The other couples staying that weekend were a joy to hang out with, adding to the vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Hearing Lisa and Rob share their stories about supporting each other and their kids was heartwarming, and their adorable puppies added to the charm of the place. It’s clear that Kindred Oak Farm is built on love and community, making it a place where lasting memories are made.

We left Kindred Oak Farm with full hearts and a strong desire to return. If you’re looking for a magical and 5-star retreat in Paso Robles, we highly recommend Kindred Oak Farm. It’s a place where peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience.

If you are looking to stay at the central coast, look no further! The room was immaculate, the bedding was cozy and luxurious and the food was absolutely the best I’ve ever had!! 3 course breakfast…yes please!! Plus, The Peach’s leave locally roasted coffee grounds in a pour over pot for us to make in our room! We eat and drink so much in the morning we are full until dinner!!
Don’t get me started on the property! Chickens, goats, baby calf’s and a beautiful garden loaded with fresh herbs and vegetables (yes, they were in our meal).
Lisa even gave us a tour of her garden the last day and sent us home with lettuce and herbs!!
I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!! They make you feel like close friends and yet, it’s still very private.
Thank you so much Peach family!! We will definitely be back!!

WOW - Lisa and Rob are natural-born hosts, and Kindred Oak Farm is a truly one-of-a-kind, special place. We booked a stay in the Oaks Room, which was beautifully decorated by Lisa. The room was incredibly comfortable, filled with thoughtful amenities, and included a large outdoor private deck overlooking the fields and vineyards. The multi-course breakfast by Chef Candice was delicious and was accompanied by Lisa’s amazing home-pressed juices. My favorite part of the experience was the expansive grounds that included a flower garden, vegetable garden, goats, Scottish Highland cows, chickens, two adorable Great Pyrenees dogs, and a cat. Rob gave us a great tour of the property, and it was extra fun getting to feed alfalfa to the cows 😉 We also had a wonderful time wandering the paths and just taking it easy.

I would highly recommend Kindred Oak to anyone looking for an intimate, personalized stay in Paso Robles. We were so happy we stumbled across this beautiful place when browsing online for a place to stay, and now we can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much, Lisa and Rob!

My wife and I stayed at Kindred Oak for our 11th wedding anniversary weekend and had an incredible stay! Lisa and Rob were the most welcoming and warm hosts, treating us to a guided tour of their flower and vegetable garden, a ride around the whole property on the golf cart, and the food from Chef Candace was just incredible. The room was beautiful and well stocked (we stayed in the Templeton Gap room). We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs balcony for breakfast and hanging out in the afternoon, and using our own private balcony attached to the room in the late evenings and early mornings to enjoy the views. We would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend at Kindred Oak Farm Bed & Breakfast in February and it far exceeded our expectations! Lisa and Rob are warm and gracious hosts and the location is ideal if you want to visit Paso Robles wineries. The room was like a five star hotel with luxurious linens, towels, robes, a gas burning fireplace and wonderful decorations. A bottle of local wine was left in the room for us upon our arrival which we really appreciated. Chef Candice prepared wonderful three course breakfasts every morning that were inspired by her Costa Rican roots and were delicious. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!
