While the people who have worked on this farm are lovely, unfortunately the owner of this farm, Michael Moss, is not someone that anyone should want to financially support. He boasts a 100% attrition rate, likely because he constantly yells at and belittles his employees. None of his employees from previous years have stayed on, and all of the employees he hired last year left (most during the season) due to his behavior.

Anyone looking to get a CSA share should consider whether they want to support someone of his character, especially considering the quality of food is much lower than some other farms in the area.

This is our first year getting our Kilt Farm CSA and it's truly the highlight of our week! All of the food is really fresh and delicious. I think these were some of the best cucumbers, eggplants, grapes, and apples I've ever had. The portions are sizable and with only two of us eating a weekly share we really have to work to eat everything. We've also enjoyed cooking more creatively and watching our shares change with the seasons. The options customize our share each week makes it really flexible. The price is reasonable too for great food from a local farm. We'll definitely be continuing our share next year! Thanks Kilt Farms!

We just finished our first CSA Box season with Kilt Farm and we had a lovely year! I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a CSA. I loved being able to pause it for a week while we were out of town. Also, having the option to change which vegetables you receive was such a great benefit! It really helped me plan my weekly meals.
I am a picky eater so being able to rate the vegetables and not get ones that I don't like, is amazing! I would also recommend doing their add-ons! We got mushrooms, fruit, pasta and flowers every other week and we loved all of them!!

Love love love kilt farm CSA. They are passionate about making sure the soil remains alive and full of important nutrients so that their produce in turn does the same! Delicious food and great variety. This is my second year with them and I will continue to support these beautiful humans who are working hard to demonstrate how to do farming in a sustainable way.

Dear sweet baby Jesus do I love me some Kilt Farm. Always friendly. Always kind. Always tasty. They have a great variety of food throughout the year and their communication is on point. Never a surprise, you know what you're going to get, you know the hard work that went into it, and you get some great veggies to boot. I can't say a bad thing about these folks and if I ever meet someone who can, I'll throw a watermelon radish at them.

We have had a CSA share for the past two years, and are pretty sad to be moving out of their area- always tons of great produce. For their CSA, you can sign up for full shares or half shares, along with eggs, mushrooms, pasta, flowers.... You update what veggies you would prefer to get at the beginning of the year, then they let you know what your basket for the week will contain, and you have a chance every week to swap something out for something else that's in season or just go with what they've picked. I've eaten great these past two summers and falls thanks to Kilt Farm!

The Kilt Farm folks are the cream of the crop! I rarely see folks work harder, care more, or put their hearts into it like this! Their food is nutrient-dense and has all the flavor you miss with conventional agriculture methods. Fair price. Cayla and Michael provide excellent customer service. I couldn't recommend them more!

Kilt Farm offers an exceptionally high quality CSA program. You can personalize your share every time using an online portal, so you're never surprised with a vegetable you don't like. They offer lots of add-ons like flowers, eggs, fresh pasta, honey, etc. I've been a happy camper with Kilt Farm for three seasons, and I hope to see many more seasons.
