I was sadly underwhelmed by the Apple pastry, it was dry and flavorless. Luckily I got a box of 1/2 price chocolate donuts, was a little better. The donuts had tons of frosting & super sweet… My husband got the bagel breakfast sandwich and he was satisfied. I was disappointed because I wanted to support a local place but after going there, I’m more likely to buy a box of GF goods from the grocery store.

Went to Red Rock Coffee, but they are closed until July 28, 2024. So we went to Karen's Bakery next door. I didn't have any food but their coffee is very good. Friendly service, and the menu looked good.

I picked up several goodies from the shop, everything is gluten and dairy free and sweetened with honey/ maple syrup vs cain sugars.

Cindy was very helpful and nice helping us pick foods based on our preferences.

We have only had the bagels so far but they were delicious! We can’t wait to try the rest!!

Really cute bakeshop with nice views. We got a donut and cinnamon roll and they were delicious. Some of the best gluten free baking I’ve had! Nothing was dry and everything was flavorful. Staff was friendly.

Edit: my second experience was terrible. The marketing online for “cookies” did not specify the “cookies” were sucker lollipops. We just assumed the center of the heart shaped cookies was cookie with some kind of icing. When the photos online showed them sitting on top of each other in the display case, that’s what I thought it was. Not a “sucker lollipop”. I had a family member drive 45 minutes to get them for me, and she didn’t really know what they were but got them anyways. I immediately called the location and after a lengthy phone call the woman offered to refund the $18 for the two cookies. I never received the refund so I attempted to call back 4 days later to find my phone number was blocked! So I had to call from another phone to reach someone, which was the owner. She stated she would give my info to this woman to get me refunded. I finally got a $17 refund which is fine, but the experience to get that refund was not ok. I have never had a business block my phone number to make it so I can’t call them. That is highly inappropriate and very unprofessional, considering I was very nice to the person on the other end of the phone (I have two witnesses that heard the conversation, as proof). Based on this experience and bad marketing that was misleading, I would not recommend this place. To spend that much on “cookies” that were only an outer shape of a heart is absurd. The cookies are not as good as many claim them to be either. I threw away a lot of food I bought the first time because it was dry and gritty. I wanted to love this place but after this second experience I will not come back. $8-$9 for a cookie is just wrong. There are many other dairy free gluten free cookies I buy elsewhere and they range from $3.50-$4.50 each. This location in Sedona has them completely overpriced for quality and taste.
I would recommend little product information cards to be placed in their displace cases so people can read what the items are and see the price up front. That would resolve a lot of these kinds of issues. Most dietary places do this, so people know the ingredients in the product and the price up front. I can honestly say the chalk board way up at the ceiling isn’t good for people with bad vision either. Just my own personal e experience. Everyone will have their own unique experiences here.

This bakery is a cool place. It has the fun Sedona vibe inside. It's incredible how it's all dairy free and gluten free. The presentation of the food items is truly incredible. My daughter had a tuna sandwich not photographed, that she said was the best she's ever had. The bread was very soft and moist, unlike a lot of gluten free breads. The price is much higher though than similar places I’ve been too. It’s in a great location of Sedona for those who wish to visit, I just wish prices and product info was more transparent in the product display cases.

Incredibly over priced for what you are getting. The quiche was not a quiche - there was no crust, it was incredibly watery, and very bland - definitely not worth the $10+ dollars. I am a gluten free baker myself and make homemade quiche with gluten free crust, so this was a big disappointment. The sticky bun was also extremely dry and crumbly. I appreciate trying to make everything gluten free and dairy free, but I would not recommend this establishment. Sedonuts has incredible gluten free donuts, just tried them today 🙂

I wanted to love this place and I was so excited to have gluten free treats.
We purchased a few things, the cinnamon roll
Itself was good but the icing was just odd, We ended up taking it off and just eating the roll. The coffee cake was just okay, with not a ton of flavor. We also purchased a sourdough, neither of us enjoyed the bread because it was SO dense and very chewy.
I have been gluten free for years and I’m a huge baker myself. Gluten free baked goods don’t need to be so dense and flavorless. Personally I feel it would be great if this bakery didn’t focus so much on having EVERYTHING gluten free, sugar free and dairy free. Maybe focus on nailing the three individually and having a few options with the three combined.

The only positive was the chocolate macaron I had. It wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere, we felt like an inconvenience. We had to keep repeating ourselves over and over, it’s like she wasn’t listening. I wanted a bagel with cream cheese and she brought out a bagel with butter. She had to go back to get the cream cheese which is fine but when we already told her 3 times when ordering and she still can’t get it right it’s ridiculous. Also we came in looking for Gluten Free Sourdough Bread and she asked what we meant by that and had to explain to her, as someone who has a bakery that question was really strange. Then she pointed to something else. We ended up just picking out a normal type of bread because she still didn’t know. She wasn’t very friendly nor helpful. Also do not get the cupcakes on the marked down section they were horrible, we had to spit them out and throw it in the trash. Will never be returning
