Stop spilling stuff in the roads in Hatfield when making your deliveries from and to Clemens Food Group. You are destroying our town with your disgusting tactics.

The Department has received your inquiry regarding the spilling of waste from trucks leaving the Clemens Food Group / Hatfield Meats facility (“Clemens”) located at 2700 Clemens Rd. Hatfield Township, Montgomery County. We are aware of and have investigated spills of wastewater treatment plant sludge originating from Clemens and transported by Jones Harvesting LLC (“Jones Harvesting”) on August 16, 2024 and again on August 31, 2024. We currently evaluating these cases for the possibility of further enforcement. More recently, DEP was notified of a March 18, 2025 spill of waste pig remains from a Jones Harvesting truck onto the roadway near Clemens. We are currently investigating this incident.

The Department will continue to investigate any incidents that occur and will respond accordingly to protect local residents and the environment, up to and including appropriate enforcement actions.
